Buyer Beware -Technivorm gives no customer support

Mo55, williams-sonoma.com
13 June 2013
  • Summary: The bummer is, this coffeemaker makes really great coffee, but if you have any problems with it or if you need a carafe replacement, etc. it's next to impossible to get parts. Additionally, Technivorm does not reply back to customers when you email them on their website, nor do they supply an phone number at which you can contact them.
  • Cons: Fragile, no customer support

  • Summary: Let me count the ways I love my new Moccamaster. First and foremost, I love the way my coffee tastes -full of flavor without so much as a hint anything acidic. That fact that it brews in 6 minutes works great for us and the sleek design is just plain fun and so easy to use.

Poor design, poor company support

PearlieK, williams-sonoma.com
20 April 2013
  • Summary: I bought this coffee maker a while back with high expectations. There appears to be a design flaw in the filter adjuster that eventually causes the coffee maker to malfunction leaving you with a mess to clean up and to add insult to pricey injury, coffee grounds in your coffee. The company, rather than keeping their customers happy and replacing the part, sent me a list of places that carry the coffee maker ( none of which have the part) and an announcement they would...

To much work

OneWhoLovesThierKitchen, williams-sonoma.com
17 April 2013
  • Summary: Owned for 2 years. Use it rarely (pain). Get used to all the pieces and make sure they are in place (not good for one who is not-on-thier-game in the morning) or else you'll have a mess.
  • Pros: looks great
  • Cons: Difficult to Use, Difficult to Store, Assembly, High-Maintenance, Fragile

Water too cold; poor coffee

JLMR, williams-sonoma.com

  • Summary: The selling point for the Technivorm line is that it supposedly generates water between 195 and 204 degrees to best capture the flavor of the coffee.

Goodbye Kitchenaid

barleysnack, williams-sonoma.com
11 April 2013
  • Summary: I've been eying this coffee maker for a year, and trying to figure out how to get my wife to go along with this product. I got her to go with me to W.S. this past weekend. The bad news: they didn't have a demo model because an employee had taken it home to learn about it, worse news they didn't have any in stock. My wife to my surprise said order one; so I did. UPS delivered it yesterday.
