Summary: I had a Seaco Vienna before which made good coffee. Great machine for it's day. The Giro makes even better coffee, much better than going to Starbucks!! Touchy sensors on it tho, but it is just a learning curve I think.
Summary: This was a Christmas present for my Mom and Dad. After visiting my home over the Holydays, they experienced a much older and very much alive Saeco Italia that I use daily. They fell in love. Ofter opening it up Christmas day there was no time wasted in putting it to use. Instant joy flowed from this machine. They have thanked and raved about it since. I would DEFINITELY recommend this machine and Seattle Coffee Gear to anyone.
Summary: This is the second saeco coffee machine we have had and it is better in some ways and worse in toehrs. The tank capacity for water and the coffee bean capacity are somewhat small, so be prepared to fill them often. There is also no way to use preground coffee, which is different than our last one. other than that, it works well and makes great coffee.
Summary: Love the stylish aesthetic and ease of use. Makes a GREAT espresso shot for a superautomatic once you learn how to dial in the grind fineness, dose, and strength. Good features for the price. Wish the cup warming surface was metal not plastic and worked more quickly. A small quibble. Nice touch with the rolling/wheels option to access the water compartment and dregs drawer and brewgroup.
