Summary: This espresso machine is great. Very simple to use, and makes great coffee. my only gripe about this machine is that the container for water is small and requires refills. I love how it grinds fresh coffee, but also allows you to use pre-ground coffee. This machine makes killer cappuccinos
Summary: I would not recommend this product. I have had this machine for 4+ years and after a year of working well for a year, I have had to bring it in for service every 6 months as there is either a problem with the chip board or dispenser.
Summary: I've had one of these for 4+ years and have used it almost everyday. I just viewed a you tube video on how and where to lubricate since I have not used the little lube tube that came with it but finally lubed it today. I did notice a rough noise when operating lately.
Summary: I've had this about a week or so and I think it's a worthy replacement for my old Saeco Deluxe that bit the dust a couple of years ago. I got mine as a factory refurb for under $400 and it works fine, delivers a very satisfactory cup of coffee, and is smaller than my old one.
Summary: This superautomatic is an excellent purchase. It makes very good espresso with a nice crema. Once you find a coffee and roast that works well I would put this up against any other auto or super auto.
Summary: Too finicky. Wastes coffee, can not seem to make it work well and consistently. Poor documentation. I like my old manual machine better. Considering returning machine. Too bad I had high hopes n
Cons: automatic, inconsistant, finicky, bad documentation
Summary: The saeco syntia makes reasonably good coffee, comparable to another brand's super-automatic espresso/coffee machine we had previously. There are some issues with it, though: 1) The water container is way, way too small. Should be twice as big.
