Summary: My wife loves this machine we had an older red one we used for like 7 years, now we got this one and hope it will be as durable as the last. They have gotten expensive but the foaming coffee is a plus.
Excerpt: I was given the Philips senseo coffee maker as a gift and have to say its one of the better things I have ever received. The flavour is delicious and easily adaptable to your own coffee strength taste. It is easy to set up and use -no horrid filters to clean -no hot steam to dodge and the most...
Pros: Taste of fresh creamy coffee Speed of brewing Ease of use
Cons: A bit on the noisy side Only makes 3 cups before it needs a water refil
Summary: This is the 4th one of these purchased. Good price and coffee sachets cheap and easy to get (tho not in Sainsburys)It makes great black coffee but in our hard water area it needs descaling often, after a while this doesn't help so new one needed. It's relatively cheap so replacement is reasonable.
Summary: Really good alternative, though if you feel that you can get a mug/double cup out of one coffee pod, you can't do the same with the chcocolate version. I'm not sure what the other reviewers machines are,but it fits ours, which is a HD7814.
Summary: I thought long and hard before deciding to buy one of these. The reviews are a little mixed and then there's also the Nescafe version to consider. I've tried cafetieres, coffee pots and filter machines in the past, but the taste has never compared to a proper coffee from a shop.
