Amazing the quality of expresso this can deliver!

Summary: Bought this unit based on the most excellent reviews. Only had this for a few days, but here are my initial impressions: Makes excellent espresso every time with minimal effort. Fast to heat up and simple to clean Small and compact so it does not need a lot of counter space. Nespresso website for ordering capsules is super smooth and easy to use.
Summary: No really. In my opinion, this machine creates the closest espresso experience that I had when in the Azores, Portugal. I'm blown away that I can't get good espresso anywhere here in my area in Northern California, but when I received this machine and brewed my first "bica" (solo/single shot espresso), I had found what I was looking for. Can't recommend it enough.
Summary: I ordered a refurbished Pixie from Amazon and received it in two days. The machine looked perfect, however when I filled the water tank with water it started to leak before I even plugged it in or turned it on. I called Nespresso directly as their instructions ask to deal with them and not the vendor, and they tried to help me troubleshoot the machine.
Summary: I love and know my coffee! I used to spend about $5 a day on coffee. I used this same machine when i was in Europe and loved it! i was able to find it at a good price and now dont have to run out for coffee.
Excerpt: I purchased the Pixie for my husband as a birthday gift two years ago. We loved our Pixie. Unfortunately, just as the warranty expired-so did our beloved Pixie. We have tried troubleshooting and have wasted pods attempting to use the machine. Nespresso's site is frustrating to navigate and at this point it is sitting in our pantry. Very expensive product now collecting dust.
Summary: Reasonable size and weight and chic design make this machine favorable. The espresso cubes are a bit more expensive while compared to other brands. One problem that might bother you would be the loud noise that it makes while preparing the espresso. In my previous house I could not use it early in the morning as my neighbors would become annoyed. But if you are living in a house which is not made of wood, the noise will be tolerable.
Summary: I was pretty excited to get this at first, but after 2 years of use it is headed to the closet. Positives: - Small footprint, physically well designed - Fast shipping of coffee packs from Nestle Negatives - Noisier than regular espresso machines, almost as loud as a small vacuum cleaner - Easy to forget to turn off and waste a lot of electricity as water is kept hot - There are two buttons on the top, supposedly for espresso and lungo, but they seem to operate randomly.
