The best espresso maker ever!

Summary: I have two Nespresso machines. I have purchased several others as gifts; all the Pixie model. I love this espresso maker. The capsules are easy to order through Nespresso online. The espresso tastes great. The machine is so easy to use. I cannot say enough about how much use this gets in our house. It is super slim and compact, so it will fit in any kitchen. The boldness of the espresso ranges from mellow to very intense, so all tastes are accommodated.
Summary: This is my third Nespresso machine. As the name implies, it's a small machine. Great for kitchens with limited counter space. Water tank is small, needs refilling often, depending on personal preferences and frequency of use. Overall, very pleased with my latest purchase.
Summary: First I LOVED my little Pixie - coffee tasted great and you can choose from a wide selection of coffee. Unfortunatly it started pressing capsules and destroyed them rather than forcing water through it so only a little water ended it my cup and a lot of coffee ended flowing all over the counter. Since a now found many reviews from people having the same issue I won't give the Pixie a second try.
Summary: UPDATE: Pixie has now been with me to New York, Maui, Malibu, Santa Barbara, Beverly Hills, Naples Island and San Diego (twice!!). It gets packed in the checked luggage or thrown in the trunk. Have not had one single problem with it and everybody loves having it around. For the San Diego trips we stopped off first at the Nespresso boutique in Bloomingdales where we stocked up on pods and were treated like queens, sampling all the new flavors, even getting steamed milk in...
Summary: I own a CitiZ with the attached milk frother for home use and I was so impressed I just had to get a Nespresso for my office. Didn't want to spend the CitiZ money again though, so I opted for the less expensive Pixie in the Steel Blue color. I was a little hesitant to buy given some of the negative reviews, but I took a gamble and I'm so pleased that I did. My Pixie doesn't leak or have any other problems.
Summary: Addendum, 2012: In order to remove the water tank effortlessly, you need to OPEN the lid of the water container. There are latches on the lid itself which engage when the lid is closed! If you open the lid, the tank comes off without any resistance. If you keep it closed and try to remove the tank, you will have to force it and and will break the plastic. II've been using my Pixie for a year multiple times a day and it still runs perfectly.
This makes a great expresso and I am so happy with it

Summary: Wow, a friend demonstrated her pixie to me and I was sold. This makes a great expresso and I am so happy with it..It is slightly noisy for about 10-15 seconds but all coffee makers are. The hot water is ready in about 15 seconds and you have a great drink in 20 seconds. It is a handsome machine, takes very little counter space and was a bargain. I have wanted my own machine for many years and this is perfect..
Excerpt: What a perfect yet powerful machine. It makes great espresso! I have found that not only can you use Nespresso capsules but also off brands like Gourmesso which are about 30% cheaper. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a sleek machine that looks good on their countertop and loves a great tasting espresso.
