Summary: I LOVE this machine! Forget the mess of tamping and measuring, this Nespresso makes a perfect cup of espresso! Don't be fooled......It has quite a bit of pressure to develop a rich layer of creme! It makes "a real" cup of espresso. (I froth milk quickly by hand in a Bodum milk frother) The coffee pods are beautiful to display in the display case (sold separately). Guests can select their own coffee from various regions. SIMPLE, FAST, DELICIOUS. I love it!!!
Summary: Love it! Love it! Love it! Anytime I want a perfect, frothy espresso, I have to wait only one minute. And then after that, I can have as many as I want, as quickly as I want. It's cheap at 55 cents a shot, (60 cents or so with shipping factored in.) It has a small foot-print on my kitchen countertop. Is real easy to clean. And has worked flawlessly. I can easily set the shot to short or not. Did I mention that the coffee is high quality. My life has improved!
Summary: You can look up the reviews of the Nespresso machine elsewhere. If you don't mind prepackaged coffee then it's great and simple. If the cost is too excessive then it's not what you want. What makes this combination especially brilliant is that the frother is much better than the nespresso frother and about half the price. The overall combination is a better value than I was able to find anywhere else by a fair amount.
Le Cube + Froth Au Lait = Coffee Shop Quality Cappuccino
ESVK "SVK", Amazon
22 March 2008
Summary: I debated for a while and finally purchased the Le Cube - mostly because I liked the idea of no mess. I added a Froth Au Lait Frothing Unit and I now have cafe quality at about $1.00 per large cappuccino with little effort on my part (and no mess). I have always received the capsules from Nespresso in two shipping days as promised - which is good because I can wait to order until I am almost out.
Summary: this product could have been designed by apple. it is beautiful, functional, simple and makes you happy every time you interact with it. it is a wonderful machine. the coffee pods system is great: they come in 10-12 color coded varieties that give you the impression that you are a great coffee connaisseur, because you can tell them apart. espresso comes out better than at starbucks. each pod costs 50 cents.
Summary: Le Cube is so easy to use, looks great on the kitchen counter, and most importantly - the espesso is delicious. Perfect crema, no burnt taste. The drinks we're making are far better than what I've ever had at Starbucks. It only works with their espresso pods, but that's o.k. because their espresso is excellent. We also bought the Aeroccino which makes steamed milk or frothed milk, for making cappacino's and latte's. This is also simple to use and works really well.
Summary: Since purchasing Le Cube, my boyfriend and I have consumed a surprising number of the pods. The array of choices is impressive--our favorite is probably "Arpeggio", but all of the flavors, even the "Decaffeinato" variety are delicious. Le Cube makes a high quality shot of espresso, without all the grinding, and tamping required of a more traditional espresso machine. My only complaint?
