Summary: I love expresso, my wife loves capuchino and this machine makes both perfectly. I have tried home expresso machines before and this is the first one I have found that really works and at a reasonable price (compared to the rest of the field).
Summary: This espresso machine has a small footprint and puts out the most consistent cup of espresso. I have a much more expensive machine that grinds whole bean, tamps it, then makes the espresso but I have chosen this Nespresso maker as my daily use machine. As for the pods, buy them directly from Nespresso for the best price.
Summary: Machine worked fine but we thought you could use for coffee size cups also. Large cup setting yields about 5 ounces only so you woul need 2 pods to fill a large cup. This makes it rather expensive as up to 8 pods or more would be used by a high volume drinker daily. Works better for those who just use for expresso. Most of the flavors were very good.
Summary: The espresso comes out hot with some crema on top. It is the best espresso for this priced pod machine I have had. You have to understand you are getting mostly a single purpose machine- espresso or slightly larger luongo coffee. The pods are more expensive compared to others, but the coffee is high quality too. I did not purchase the frother due to all the poor reviews of it.
Summary: since I don't own a Keurig style of pod coffee maker, I could not draw any comparison. Has a pure espresso maker, it's okay. There is a large variety of coffees available, although a limited number of retailers. I really like the separately-purchased milk foamer.
Summary: A friend gave me an expresso from her new Nespresso Pixie. I was not only impressed with how good it was, but also by the quickness and ease of preparing it. Up to then, expresso was a hit or miss proposition made with a lot of effort. The CitiZ proved to be as good as I was hoping. While a little sturdier and larger than the Pixie, it was still compact and well designed. While essentially new, there was only minor damage to the lip of the lid to the water reservoir.
Summary: this machines is great easy to operate, overall size is compact, little maintenance, quick to start-up especially useful for morning rush hour and home parties i chose to buy Nespresso CitiZ standalone and aeroccino 3 separately because i can store any one of them when i don't need it when reading up about Nespresso machines, Lattissima+ look to be very attractive because it can do latte and cappuccino with just one button.
Summary: Perfect espresso or espresso drinks every time. I have purchased two of these: one for me and one for my daughter. Starbuck's doesn't come close to what you can do with this machine...and you probably save $$$ in the long run!
Summary: I have owned the CitiZ machine for over 2 years now. I make, on average, 4 to 6 shots every day with it. If you do the math, that is around 3650 shots of espresso I have made with this little guy. It's working just as great today as it did the day I bought it. What really makes this machine amazing is the variety of flavors and different strengths you can get. Plus their seasonal flavors keep things interesting.
