Summary: We love this machine - its the 3rd Krups espresso machine that we've purchased (in 20 years) and it's by far the best performing. The auto-tamp feature is great and the steamer works much better than the other 2 machines that we've had. Only wish that the water reservoir was a bit bigger.
Summary: GREAT MACHINE READ!I would like to say first that I had a very hard time choosing a espresso machine. This is the first espresso machine I have ever owned. For the money I dont know how you could expect anything more and I do not understand the bad reviews.
Summary: When my 4-year old Krups XP5220 gave out after it's daily use, I decided to look around. I did extensive reviewing and purchased a DeLonghi for about $175. After unpacking it, I simply put it back together and returned it because all the parts that looked like silver in the ad were plastic.
Summary: This is a great Espresso Machine. It requires frequent maintenance to keep it working at it best. But that effort is worth it because of the espressos and lattes that you can enjoy in your own home. You can buy different types (flavors) of coffee and enjoy them at any time.
Summary: This is my first espresso machine and I chose it because I've had many Krups coffee makers in the past. I read that tamping is one of the most important steps in making an espresso and also the most difficult step to get right. This machine takes that step out because the machine tamps the coffee.
Summary: I have used the following on a regular basis: a nespresso - (office semi-commercial unit), a Krups XP4030 Pump Espresso Machine, Black ) and a DeLonghi EC270 15-Bar-Pump Espresso Machine, Black and Stainless . I am blown away by this machine, its perfomance and its build-quality.
