krups newer steam nozzle

does the new and improved steam nozzle fit on the other xp-5240 model with the old steam nozzle that keeps shooting off and breaking.because mine is still under warranty and i would rather have the newer nozzle as i heard some have broken 3 or more times and mine is only 3 months old.
