Summary: I have two espresso machines that still make coffee, but the steamers are gone.didn't want to get another one just to froth my milk,so I ordered this milk frother from Krups.Needles to say I love it.It is very easy to use, very consistent, and by the time my coffee is dripped, the milk is ready.don't get much better than that.
Summary: I am soooo happy with this Krups milk frother! I received it for Christmas and have just had my 3rd day of a perfect café au lait! I used to have quite the time consuming morning ritual of measuring out the right amount of milk for my mug. I would then measure some of that milk into a hand frother (too much exercise) and the rest into a small heating pot to put on the stove. Inevitably the milk would over heat or even boil over if not attended to.
Summary: There are three settings to this frothing machine, no adjustments, just three buttons. None of these even remotely heats up the milk, the ultimate best I've had is lukewarm. But,it does an excellent job frothing the milk. Trouble is once I pour the milk, my hot whatever is now nearly cold. So yeah I've made cappuccino's with this, room temperature to cold ones. I end up microwaving the final product, which is an excellent way to pop all those bubbles by the way.
Summary: Ordered on spec and am very pleased. Well-built and solid so far. I use it at least twice a day to make café au lait (second setting on the machine: hot milk with a tad of froth). Have some experience with the Nespresso models - they tend to be inconsistent in their results and somewhat fragile (the agitator is a spring-like device). The Krups has a simple plastic agitator that pops off and on easily.
