Summary: Love this machine. Its small but delivers a great cappucchino. I tried a few other flavors and they were just ok. The cappucchino is the best! In just a few seconds, you'll impress anyone. I love it!
Summary: I found the Piccolo at 50% discount last November and the machine is still going strong! Easy to use and clean. Thus far, have tried the cappuccino, Lungo, Americano, Espresso, and Chococino and have been greatly satisfied with Cappucino. Lungo is also good and so is hot chocolate even though I'm not much into the latter. It's a lot of fun using clear glass to watch the cappuccino filling the container in black and caramel colors.
Summary: Mine just came today and I made my 1st drink - cappuccino - and it was so good! After reading in some of the reviews that it was hard to determine how much water to use or the drink would be too weak, I just watched the color of the liquid and estimated based on how full my cup was. I turned it off when the liquid just started to turn lighter/clearer, and when it seemed like my mug had filled up the number of ounces it recommended. It was perfect!
Summary: I had the Nespresso unit and thought the coffee was fantastic and very different from all the other makers, since I had a Tassimmo and a Senseo as well. The Dolce Gusto caught my eye as the Variety was greater than the Nespresso. I bought the lower cost Piccolo from Walmart and tried the Cappocino, Lungo, Americano and the Dark roast. I thought that all were terrific.
Summary: This little machine can do a LOT. At first, I was worried because of some of the bad reviews on this machine, but I am pleased with the performance and quality of the drinks that this thing makes. No, you can't use your own coffee in this coffee maker, which is a bit of a let down I will say that. BUT, Nescafe makes a "house brew" coffee capsule which is kinda like Foldgers breakfast blend.
Summary: Have to admit, this is a pretty good machine.. Does a great job of producing an instant cup of your choice. The Dolce heats up quickly and produces on demand. There are many other options out there but the price for the unit itself was very affordable compared to others currently on the market. The only negative is the price of the coffee/drink packets. I am being very conservative on my use of the Dolce because of the products themselves.
Summary: After buying the simplest nespresso machine as a Christmas present to my sister, we were extremely excited to get a coffee machine that would be versatile enough to make cappuccinos, lattes and hot chocolate. We experimented making simple `lattes' with nespresso by simply adding milk to the expresso and microwaving it, and were happy enough, but since neither me or my spouse are coffee gourmets, we thought that probably the dolce gusto would fit us better.
Summary: I must say I am very pleased with this purchase. So far so good! I was researching this for a while and did not want to spend as much as Nespresso and other brands charge for their machines (sometimes making black coffee only), yet still being able to enjoy specialty coffees without paying a fortune at Starbucks, etc.
Summary: I bought this coffee machine yesterday at Walmart after much research into Keurig, Tassimo and Senseo units. My first impression is that it's compact and ideal for the counter top. It's much simpler than the others in that there aren't a great number of moving parts. It is basic, but I really didn't need another LCD clock! The on-off switch glows red when the machine is thinking and goes green when ready. After 5 minutes it shuts itself off.
