Summary: I have had and burned out many machines. This one tops the list for me. Don't waste money on stupid features that suck the wattage out of your machine. This has one button. Turn it on and you will get a great cup of coffee ....of course you have to buy good coffee as well.
Excerpt: We really like this Krups, the latest in a series we've had over 40 years (we have them each so long that we get to a point where a replacement carafe is no longer available). It's simple to use and makes great coffee. Its one problem is that when you pour in the water it is somewhat difficult to see how much you've poured because of the dark nature of the water level casing. Otherwise, it's just what we hoped for.
Excerpt: This machine looks great and its one-button operation is a godsend compared to the complexity of some new models. My only complaint is that twice now, grounds have overflowed the top of the filter basket, which makes a mess on the countertop. Don't know why this happened as the carafe was properly in place and the amount of coffee being made was only half the capacity. Still, I have no plans to trade it in...yet.
