Summary: I have disliked this coffee maker since I purchased it almost a year ago. It is complicated to figure out, especially if you're using whole bean coffee and not pre-ground. The gasket came off the bottom of the filter holder the first time I used it and attempting to communicate with Krups was like...
Summary: I really wanted to love this (mostly because it looks really cool) but it just didn't function (and I really can't begin to understand what they were thinking with the weird coffee grinder swing door function?

Summary: Coffee grounds get on top of the drip unit every time you use it and then slip off onto the counter. The top of the brew basket is spring loaded and must be slid to the side for the bean shoot. Grounds get on both sides of the unit. The Capresso was similar but the brew basket moved instead...
Summary: I was a bit concerned ordering this product after reading the reviews about the heater failures coupled with my love of my melitta mill and brew that is no longer available. The machine makes good coffee, I have no problems with loose grounds as others have reported.
Summary: I used a Cuisinart machines with built-in burr grinder for many years. After the grinder gave out I decided to give this Krups machines a try. Pros: -The grinder is much quieter than the Cuisinart -Sleek and compact Cons: -Doesn't brew strong coffee.
Summary: I purchased this looking for the perfect solution of convenience and great coffee, however, didn't end up with either. First- I had the similar problem to several other reviewers. After grinding the coffee, the machine proceeds to SPRAY THE GROUNDS ALL OVER THE COUNTER.
Summary: I read all the reviews before I bought this coffeemaker. I knew that many people had problems with the heating element not working soon after they purchased but it seemed that from the manufacturer's opinion was the problem fell to the consumer not changing the filter as directed.
Summary: My 4 year old Cusinart stopped working and although it served me well over the years, it was time to find a coffee maker that served "hot" flavorful freshly grounded coffee. My husband bought this coffee maker for me after I researched every grind & brew currently available.
Summary: I've owned 3 other Grind n Brew varieties from Cuisinart including the DGB-600 thermal one. This one from Krups beats them hands down. Easier to clean, uses less coffee, coffee is hotter, and more user friendly and customizable and NO MORE MEASURING BEANS!!
