Summary: My 4 year old Cusinart stopped working and although it served me well over the years, it was time to find a coffee maker that served "hot" flavorful freshly grounded coffee. My husband bought this coffee maker for me after I researched every grind & brew currently available.
Summary: This machine makes one of the best cups of coffee I have ever had at home. I have owned the machine for six weeks, and have used it daily. This was the fourth coffee maker I purchased since my quest for a great cup of coffee in my own kitchen began several months ago.
Summary: I have had a number of grind and brew coffeemakers, Cusinarts (awful), Melittas (nice), and this one. The KM7000 is, by far, the easiest to clean, which solves the biggest problem with this type of appliance. Just remove the filter basket, throw out the filter, rinse, and you're ready to go again.
Summary: After my fifth Cuisinart Grind and Brew Coffee maker (3 different models) stopped functioning I decided on choosing a different brand. There were no reviews so I crossed my fingers and hoped that Krups worked out the kinks with this new model.
Summary: Works great, grinder is slightly messy, tends to spray the beans especially on first use. Great tasting coffee and hot, after owning the Capresso Grind and Brew was looking for a similar set-up but wanted my coffee hot. Well worth the price.
