Summary: So far this has been a very good coffee pot. It brews a very good flavor coffee. This almost as good as Starbucks when using Starbucks coffee beans. I wish that it had an automatic shutoff and a better designed coffee pot. It drips when you get to the last part of the pot.
Summary: This coffee maker made the finest cup of coffee I have ever produced myself. Unfortunately, the heating element went out once and had to be repaired. About 3 months later the new element freaked out and heated the carafe hot enough to give me a second degree burn on my arm in about 2 nanoseconds. At that point I gave up. I still dream about the delicious coffee this beast produces.
Summary: Purchased the coffee maker from a gourmet kitchen shop (wished we had paid amazon's price). The coffee pot spills all over the counter if you do not pour it at the perfect angle. We were not satisfied with the product, tried to return it but the gourmet kitchen shop had gone out of business (go figure). After 14 months the product just stopped working.
Summary: I've been using this product for a few weeks now and in general, I am happy with it. It does make good coffee. Also, the conical burr grinder is quiet compared to other coffee grinders I have used and it produces a consistent grind. Futhermore, this coffee maker uses the V-type filters instead of the flat-bottom filters that Cuisinart and Capresso use which gives it an inherent advantage over those 2 products. There are 2 main shortcomings as far as I am concerned.
Summary: My son bought us this Coffee Maker for Christmas in 2008. We opened the box, and the lid for the grinder was warped. We contacted customer server (a misnomer in the case of Krupps), who grudgingly agreed to replace the defective part. After the coffee is ground, the lid springs back, showering the work surface in coffee grounds.
Summary: This is my second Krups Grind and brew. I love the way it makes coffee, clean, easy and good. The first one just quit after a year and a half. I though perhaps it was a fluke. Ordered another one and after the third pot, it quit as well. Called the customer service number in the manual and only got a recording that told me to send it to a repair shop. Checked the reviews on the repair shop and found which indicated rude people and slow (months)service.
Summary: Stopped working after one month and customer service at Krups was not helpful, contacted BBB 8 weeks after sending it in for repair as Krups customer service gave me a different answer each and everytime I called and as of this writing I still have no idea when if ever my KM7000 will be returned. Hopefully BBB will get somewhere with them. They have a F rating with BBB on there website and the rating system goes from A-F.
Beware...Krups provides VERY poor customer service

Summary: I have had this coffee maker for just under a year, and would characterize my usage as 'light' (once a weekend)... It makes great coffee, but is poorly constructed. When pulling the carafe out to pour a cup of coffee recently, the metal band holding the handle to the carafe came loose causing the handle to un-clip; coffee and glass EVERYWHERE ! It appears that the screw holding the band in place stripped through the plastic of the handle.
Summary: This machine makes the best tasting coffee we have ever brewed. We had a Cuisinart Grind and Brew before, never with any problems, but I really wanted a burr grinder and when the Cuisinart finally gave out the search for a new machine was on. After much research, I chose the Krupps KM7000. There were some negative reviews, but overall it looked like the best fit for us.
