Summary: We replaced our previous auto-grind coffee maker with this one. Our $300 CoffeeTEAM Therm (Model #455) by Capresso just couldn't make strong coffee. We had taken to pre-grinding half a filter's worth just to get drinkable coffee. What an expensive lesson that was.
Well worth the buy, but add a 3 year warrantee for piece of mind,

Summary: So far, so good! This baby makes a delicious cup 'o joe. It took us a few pots to get all the variables to our liking. We initially felt the coffee was too strong, even on the lightest strength setting.
Summary: so far great machine to grind fresh coffee beans and brew in the same machine.i was tired of expesive kcups and useing a seperate grinder for my beans so far so good a touch noisey but i can live with that easy to clean also.
Summary: The grinder on this is great and not too loud. It uses paper or re-usable filter, so it's easy to set up the next batch without a bunch of complicated cleaning. It makes great coffee because it heats the water to the optimum brewing temperature. Most coffee makers don't do that.
Summary: I bought the Krups KM7000 through Amazon.com and have had it for a few days. This is my first grind and brew machine, so I cannot compare against other grind-and-brew machines. Although, I've owned a stand-alone blade grinder and a typical drip coffee maker for a long time.
Summary: After my fifth Cuisinart Grind and Brew Coffee maker (3 different models) stopped functioning I decided on choosing a different brand. There were no reviews so I crossed my fingers and hoped that Krups worked out the kinks with this new model.
Perhaps the best...? IT IS THE BEST AFTER 5 YEARS!!!

Summary: I drink a lot of coffee a pot a day two pots a day on the weekend. I'm a stickler for quality and taste, I'm a former Starbucks Batista, store manager and Coffee Master with a sip of coffee I can tell you the region of the coffee and perhaps how the coffee was processed and how long it was...
Like others' reviews, unit died after 18 months. So did it's replacement. Don't Buy!

Summary: The coffee maker is seriously cheap quality. The unit decided after 18 months to stop heating and pouring the water through to make coffee. Sure Krups will repair it ~ but I have to pay the shipping and I have to go without a coffee maker for about a month to get it fixed.
Summary: Variability in the grind of the beans and how much coffee is ground fresh for each pot give an excellent degree of brew control not found on the Cuisinart grind and brew model. The machine is easier to clean, but spills a small amount of coffee grounds when the basket cover snaps into position after...
