Summary: The pods keep jamming in machine after looking on the internet it looks like its a major fault being experienced by lots of users I complained but after two weeks ive still heard nothing from Nescafé SO BEWARE DONT BUY ONE
Summary: I bought in in The Netherlands and it was DEFECTED !!! When I pressed the button to make coffee or milk, it didn't work at all, simply nothing happened. I returned it to the shop and received full refund. Will never buy it again.
Summary: We have had four of these (two slightly different models) over the last couple of years. The first two packed up within six months. the third one lasted slightly longer but went the same way. In all cases it seems something goes wrong with the needle assembly that pierces the pod, so you end up having such a slow trickle that it takes about fifteen minutes to make a single cup of coffee. The final one arrived this week (a replacement) and failed straight out of the box.
Summary: To me coffee should be fresh, strong and smooth with plenty of flavour. Rocket fuel to get me going in the mornings. What comes out of this machine cannot be described as coffee. It is cheap instant coffee in little aluminium pods that is bitter and thin with a nasty after taste. Not only that, they are eye wateringly expensive and produce lots of waste that has to be re-cycled. Our kitchen has 3 bags full nearly every day waste from this machine.
Summary: VERY disappointed in this machine which was a birthday present and developed a leak after only 2 weeks. Amazon replaced it immediately but unfortunately (and unbelievably) the replacement developed a leak after only 2 days! Needless to say I returned that one too for a full refund. Wondering if maybe it was a faulty 'batch' I ordered from another company - AND - yes - that one has developed the same leaking fault after only two weeks!
Summary: I purchased the Krups Dolce Gusto 2 years ago and over the past few uses is now delivering the coffee one drip at a time....unfortunately left with numerous Nescafe pods and have no intention of purchasing another of these machines!
Summary: still has the same problem / drawback as all the other machines ie you are paying a fair bit of money in order to sign up for a never ending contribution to Nestle profits you are tied to whatever Nestle choose to produce - and the quality check on the pod contents are still unsatisfactory - just because it tells you it's the milk additive doesn't mean it is - so watch what comes out very carefully and be prepared to stop the process
