Summary: The styling is very clean, though clock is small and hard to read. The coffee brewed by this unit comes out average, not bad, not great. The removable water tank drips all the way from the faucet to the unit making a mess of the counter.
Summary: I can't recommend that anyone buy one of these. I love the design. It is easy to put the water in. But there is where my praise stops. The water container is difficult to seat so that the unit will perc. The door to the coffee compartment will not stay shut. It is tedious to program - and then it often loses the programming. Overall a big disappointment.
Summary: Around the Christmas Holiday 2013, I saw the KitchenAid 14 cup coffee maker on ebay for around $80. I needed a new coffee maker and I know KitchenAid is a really good kitchen appliance brand. Plus the price seemed good to me. We go through coffee makers almost every year, no matter how cheap or expensive. So far I really love this maker. The coffee is great, right from the first pot. It's easy to use and it looks really good too.
Summary: very attractive coffee maker. only small problem is the gold filter basket. if you like strong pot of coffee, the basket will hold a limit of grounds, or it will overflow on the brew, and have a bad pot. other then that , it is a very good machine.
Summary: I would have a 5 star review for this coffee maker but if the tank isn't positioned exactly it leaks. This was a replacement for an older KitchenAid coffee maker and has been a disappointment. Other than this problem I love a KitchenAid coffee maker. They make wonderful coffee.
