Summary: Looking for a smaller version of our big home machine to send off to college with kid, I hit on this. No fuss no muss, like its big brother - pop in a pod and you're ready to go. BUT - and this is the deal killer - you can make exactly ONE cup of coffee, then you have to refill the water tank and start the heating process up all over again. Dumb. Who drinks ONE cup of coffee? Too much machine too much money, too little coffee.
Summary: Keurig is a good quality product. No gripes there. But this unit doesn't cut it for me. I like how it works except for one simple thing, it makes one, small, weak cup of coffee. No problem with the "one". That's what we bought it for, but the small and weak, sorry. And who, (in America), still drinks coffee out of a small little cup and saucer? Everyone I know uses a mug, which typically holds 12 - 16 oz's. But I could even overlook that if the coffee was good.
Summary: I love this coffee maker. It is stylish and compact. The newer model which makes 3 different sizes is clunky looking. I'll take the single size brew anytime. Grab one of these while you still can!
Summary: I have to say I had hopes this would work. I should have listened to the others that said theirs did not last more then six months. I bought mine the end of september and it lasted to the beginning of november. Less then 2 months. Same problem as others, the water does not go through the product correctly. To boot you also get coffee grounds in the cup. Waste of money big time!!!!!
Summary: If I could give this 0 stars, I would. I have had my unit for 1 month and this morning it brewed 1/2 cup. I hesitated to buy a Keurig because I read the reviews and many people complained of this issue, but on impulse I gambled and lost. It worked very well for the first 3 1/2 weeks, the brewing was a little slower than advertised, but I was pleased. Two days ago I noticed my mug seemed less full after brewing, and today the dreaded 1/2 cup.
Summary: I purchased this brewing system for my mother about a year ago because she didn't always want to brew an entire pot of coffee; and her Keurig Platinum was just to big to keep in a convenient location (like next to the bed). This little brewer sacrifices some features that the Platinum and Gourmet models have but also comes in at cheaper price than the B60 or Platinum.
Summary: I love the Keurig K-cup coffees. I had an "elite" brewer in my old apartment. I got a mini for my new apartment because I didn't want to pay the price for the more advanced "elite" brewer. I'm finding the mini OK, but it's not nearly as good as the "elite" one. This machine can only handle one cup at a time. You have to refill it with water every time you want a new cup. There are no settings to automatically set the brewer to make a certain sized cup.
Summary: Received this as a xmas gift in late December '09, and now, less then one year later the machine has completely malfunctioned. I will say my girlfriend and I did get multiple uses per day out of this product, so when all is said and done, it does pay for itself. I wanted the Keurig for economic purposes of paying .40-.50 cents per coffee vs $1.00-3.00 at the gas station every morning, and for that reason it has saved me literally hundreds of dollars this year.
