Manufacturer discontinued production for good reason.

Summary: I bought this model because my wife wanted a red one, I wanted a thermal carafe, and I believed reviewer "Ineedcoffee" who said they modified the lip of the carafe so it wouldn't leak. One reviewer wrote that pour if fast, pour it slow, it leaks.
Summary: I've had this coffee pot for a little over a year now. It spills all over my counter every morning. Someday I will buy a new one... Until then, I just keep my paper towels next to it for a quick clean up.
Summary: Wanted to offer a solution to the coffee spilling problem others seemed to mention. It turns out the lid has an indicator, a flat line of plastic kind of like the blade of a standard screwdriver.
Kalorik 900-Watt 8-10 Cup Coffeemaker with Stainless Steel Carafe
Carol J Anderson, Amazon

Summary: This is a good coffeemaker - no timer, no clock, no bells, no whistles, just good coffee. I have two minor issues with it. One problem is the description "8-10 Cup". The mark on the water tank reads, "Maximum" at the 8-cup level. You could get 10 cups if you made the cups smaller.
Summary: I purchased this primarily because of the aluminum carafe for our travel trailer and it's large capacity. For that purpose, it is just fine. I would not buy it for my home because it's a very basic coffeemaker. No automatic timer, etc. Also, when pouring coffee, it leaks.
Summary: This is like so many really beautiful things/people -- get by on the looks and don't actually perform. Yes, it does make coffee. The carafe drips -- like most people have said. IF you pour really slowly, you might get by without a drip - but don't count on it.
Great simple coffee pot...if you don't mind the mess

Summary: We purchased this coffee pot after reading about it in Consumer Reports. It was a "perfect" replacement for our Cuisinart that had died. We didn't want all of the programmable features, just something that would make good coffee.
