I wish everyone knew the truth about the quality of these machines!

Summary: If I could choose no stars, I would. And I have a lot of experience with this companies machines. I actually haven't written a review before because Ive got so much going on with three businesses it frustrates be to be in a position with such a high ticket item that if I do write a review, it will be as long as the other unhappy reviewers HONEST one listing all of the issues they have had (and I have had the same and more). I have a Z5 and it is my THIRD Jura machine.
Summary: This product makes the best coffee you will pay for it by not going to starbucks or any other coffee house. My husband , my daughter and my son all own one! Their roommates love them because they have this machine. It is so easy once you know the buttons to push and it is fantastic!!!
Summary: These peices of crap make decent coffee for a year or so and then break down. You can't get into them to fix it yourself and they won't even look at it unless you pay $300 a pop. Customer Service are for the most part A$$holes' "I wouldn't have spent $3,000 for a coffee maker in the first place"??!!!??? Stay away...
Summary: We liked the drinks from the Jura, but found it to be unreliable. Ours was replaced under warranty and then the second unit began to leak water onto the counter. Jura wanted $300 (flat overhaul fee) to fix it. Instead we switched to the Miele CM 5200 and are delighted. The design is simpler and easier to use and based on our experience with Miele appliances we expect it to be quite reliable. We think the drinks are better, too. Better froth.
Summary: I had a Jura Capresso E8 model for about 6 years and was generally satisfied with the machine and the company's customer service. Then I decided to buy a more recent model that made one-touch cappuccinos, etc. So, I went online and bought a refurbished Z5 (originally a $3000 machine selling for half that price). What a mistake. Something has happened to this company, because it is no longer the same outfit.
Summary: We had an older version of this machine for 8 years and love it. The Z5 is not as nice or does it work as well. The central spout does not adjust,so you can only make small cups of coffee. Within the first year we have had to send the machine in twice for repairs. They were very nice and the machine is back in a few days, but this should not happen so often. They never let us know what was wrong with the machine...and next time it will not be under warranty. .
Summary: I have owned a few super automatics, and a few Jura's, they are extremely reliable! For the past 4 years I have owned this Z5, and has never had a problem. Once you program it to your liking, its just push button fun. I really like how the steam nozzle purges itself internally instead dumping a shot of water into your cup like other super automatics. The only complaint I have is that the steam nozzle is not height adjustable.
Summary: This makes the best coffee I have ever had at home. I have the jura ena5 for decaf and the Impressa Z5 for regular. I love the ease of use for the Z5 because there is no need to move the cup or wait for steam in order to make capachino and machiatos. It makes a great matte/creama and sometimes I don't even add the milk. I have been getting the message "fill system" ever since I put in a filter.
Summary: I received my Jura Z5 just before the Thanksgiving Holiday and had it set up and making coffee within about 10 minutes. (yeah, I actually read the instructions! LOL) Now that I have had it for a week and had about 150 shots/cups etc. through it as we had a large gathering, I can say that it does a fantastic job. We made lattes, capps, espresss and coffees.
Dissatisified with Jura Capresso Customer Service for Z5
18 October 2011
Summary: We have enjoyed our Z5 for about 3-4 years now. It is a fantastic coffee machine - but I'm submitting a poor review because of very poor post-sales service. My machine is leaking water. I have learned that it's a simple fix - but it requires that I open the machine and either reattach or replace a hose. However becuase Jura Capresso uses special proprietary screw-heads (they are oval pan-head) it is impossible to open the unit.
