Every person I've served Z5 coffee to has purchased at least one Z5

Summary: Hands down the finest coffee maker. The downside is that you won't want coffee from any other machine or retailer .. similarly, if you have a McRoskey Airflex mattress, good luck trying to sleep on anything else once you do.
Produces the BEST coffee drinks but KNOW how to fix "error 8"
23 June 2011
Summary: This machine is like the porsche of coffeepots. However, like a complicated, fine tuned machine, you really need to know about maintainence. READ the owners manual or you will be disappointed and not get your favorite coffee AFTER you have been entirely hooked. Frustration rules if you don't know how to fix the notorious "error 8" that will block you from getting your drinks - this machine produces the BEST coffee drinks BUT watch out for used coffee grains blocking...
Summary: When I click write a review for the S9 One Touch I just purchased, the title changes to Impressa Z5 220 Cups (hu?) Anyway, I love the S9 OT. It is a nice upgrade from the F9 I have had for almost 9 years (and 15000 shots of coffee). Jura-Capresso makes a solid long life machine. The S9 is not as attractive as the F9. The S9 seems to be a bit more "plasticy". It's definitely quiet and heats up very fast.
Amazing coffee station. Easy to use, great coffee!

Summary: This makes the best coffee you will ever drink! Is is easy to use and the self cleaning is great! The DVD gives very accurate operating instructions. You will be drinking the best coffee within minutes of unpacking your coffee station. You use whole beans in the main dispenser and if you want a cup of decaf or flavored coffee there is a second one cup dispenser for ground coffee that you can use. Love it!
Summary: My Z5 has been in continual use for several years, making 5 to 10 cups a day. Someone online sells a special screwdriver head- needed to open up the machine. With it, I've taken it all apart and fixed the various problems that occur. Those problems have included: water lines clogging- needing decalcification step- despite using clearyl cartriges. coffee ground dust gradually gums up moving parts- making motors work harder. sensor switches getting sticky.
Summary: This machine is a must have for all coffee drinkers. Very simple to use, quality coffee in just a few minutes. We compared many machines including the deLonghi and other brands and found this one to be the most simple and lowest maintenance. We have had the machine over a year now and no problems. I recommend getting the flavored syrup from Starbucks - they will sell it to you and making your own lattes.
Summary: my hubbie and i have had a jura s9 for 7 years. it was a decent machine, but definitely needed more service as it got older. it was probably sent 3 times in the last three years. two weeks ago, it finally died. rather than pour more money into that one, we decided to splurge and get this machine. what an upgrade. it makes making coffee, espresso, lattes so effortless. it is very simple, very quiet and beautiful to look at also.
Summary: You would think after paying this much money for a coffee center, one would be able to write with pride about good service from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, this is not the case. A simple hinge stopped working on one of the doors, and the Jura-Carpesso people want $300 to fix it! I had been a long time customer of this company and had purchased two other units in the past. They too often break after a short time and repairs are outlandishly expensive.
Summary: This machine has given us problems almost since day one. We've owned it about three years, don't make more than a dozen cups a week, and we've suffered through too many frustrations due to its many high-maintenance issues. Error messages abound. And don't think we haven't babied our investment. Nothing but bottled spring water has ever been used in this machine, and we've been super vigilant about the oiliness of the beans.
Summary: I have owned Capresso machines for about the last 8 years or so. Just replaced my Z5. It is expensive but if coffee is important to you, it's worth it. I can't tell you how much coffee we wasted making a pot at a time the old way. That drove me crazy. Single serve is the way to go. I finally figured out how to make capuchino's with the Z5 and it is so easy! I've got a family of 5 and everyone drinks them now so our machine gets alot of use.
