Summary: Beware of the mold that grows inside this bi-polar machine where you can't gain access to clean. I was sick for 2 years till this thing broke down again and wanted to go on vacation to New York for another $230 repair. In its absence my medical problems went away. Got it back and they came back. Stopped using it and switched to nespresso and now I feel ten years younger. Who knew....
Summary: I love, love, love this machine! Best ~$2,000 I ever spent!! It saved me countless dollars on Sbux and DD lattes. Jura is also an amazing company. I've had this machine for 3 years and mailed it for maintenance. I had the machine back in my kitchen in less than 72 hours. Thank you, Jura! For the curious - it makes amazing lattes and also great coffee. You can pour it over ice and make iced lattes and iced coffee.
Summary: Purchased this around 2007 brand new. The display would malfunction intermediately from the get go. Made a mistake and did not service it under warranty. A few years later, the display died completely. I wanted to replace the display myself, but the company refused to sell me the display. They forced me to send the unit for repair for $280 Another 2 years later, the unit started to leak.
Summary: I have to say the touchscreen on this was utterly useless and started to malfunction just after 1 year from purchase. Neither Williams & Sonoma nor Jura were willing to help. For this reason DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE. Just rubbish.
I'm the luckiest penny pincher coffee addict on earth...

Summary: So I'm at my local Goodwill store and I was just getting ready to leave when one of the employees brought a cart out of the back with the Jura Capresso F9 sitting on it... I had drooled over their products online for quite a while now but sadly could not afford to drop 1900.00 (what they cost new) on an espresso machine. When I saw the F9 sitting on the cart I quickly grabbed it but noticed a tag on it that said "AS IS NO RETURN" and the price tag below reading $49.99.
Summary: I bought my F9 in Sept08 and it has worked great. We have had to send it in for the Malfunction 8 after 3 1/2 years of continuous work (cost $150). I have read other reviews that have a huge complaint about this but to me even with the cost of the factory maintance it still has more than payed for itself. I would not hesitate to repurchase this product over again.
Summary: I have a Jura E85 coffee machine that I bought only two years ago. It is already falling apart. Expensive junk. I thought that something from Switzerland would have been good quality. I was wrong.
