Summary: I have had this for one year. No sense getting the smaller ENA Micro 1, as this one is only slightly bigger, and has much better bean and water capacity. The hot water and steam is nice -- did not think I would use it, but I now use if for many purposes. One minor problem. Just last week, the hot water knob got hard to turn. Might have some gook in it -- hope it only needs a little cleaning. Makes great coffee!!!
Summary: All in all this is a good product. It is a tad difficult to clean, the used coffee grounds actually spill behind the tub and tray meant to capture them. The water container is really small. This is better than some of their larger versions, which were a disappointment.
Summary: We could not be happier with our Jura Impressa C5. The machine arrived on time and in perfect condition. Set up was easy. After spending 5 minutes reviewing the manuel, I plugged the machine in...added water added beans and had my first cup of delicious, thick creme coffee. Ummmm good! Lovin the creme-style coffee this machine produces. After experimenting with various beans, we found a "House Blend" at a local coffee shop that we like.
Summary: The machine arrived brand new, in the box and when going through the initial priming and purging, it failed. It never made a single cup of coffee. I called the manufacturer and the person that tried to help was initially going to send a brand new replacement core unit. After providing the appropriate proof of purchase information, I was told that there were no cores available as the C5 has been discontinued.
Summary: I took off one star because the steam knob is, as designed, way too small to use easily. It's been stiff to turn since the first day, and has gotten harder to turn over the 11 months we've had it. Otherwise its been a great machine. It replaces a $900 Saeco that turned out 8,000 shots, and seems similarly durable, and a bit more intuitive to program. At 8 shots +2 steams a day, it needs attention every 2 days.
Summary: I have had this product for about 6 months and have unfortunately not been impressed. There are several major considerations that I suggest you take into account when considering this machine. First - Appearance: This is a very handsome machine. Black and chrome always look good and will complement your kitchen or office. Second - Quality: Although nothing has broken it is mostly plastic. Mine gets a very good work-out everyday.
Summary: I balked at the price- really, the thought of spending that for a coffee maker. And it still seems excessive. But I thought I made a good cup of coffee before. This thing makes you understand what a coffee with a crema is all about. If you love coffee, wait till you INVEST in something to make that coffee.
