    After owning a Cappresso C-1000 for many years, we "upgraded" to the C-5. While most of the features are the same, it took a bit of reading to get "checked out" on the C-5. Overall, we were initially fairly satisfied with the exception of one MAJOR issue. The frother system is totally a bust.
    From the outset, it would not make any real froth, and merely heated the milk. We tried different pitchers, milk, and anything else we could think of, without good results. In addition to not frothing properly, the tip becomes completely clogged with dried milk, and must be cleaned with a brush after every use! Not just daily, after EVERY use!
    If we could get our money and our C-1000 back, it would be a Godsend! Don't waste your time, sanity, and $$$ on this machine!
