Summary: I love this machine. It makes a nice cup of espresso (or an Americano), with no muss or fuss. It's super easy to clean, relatively quiet, and it's very quick to make espresso from whole beans. The spout moves up and down and will accommodate a thermal coffee mug. There is no milk steamer on this model, but since I just drink coffee, that's not a problem for me.
Summary: I experienced the exquisite espresso and coffee from this machine at a friend's house. I researched and waited a year before I took the leap and purchased one for my own home. I am absolutely in love with everything about this machine. It has seriously changed my view on coffee. I would rather have the liquid gold that comes from this machine than any other coffee shop output. Sorry Starbucks. Daddy has a brand new bag and it's delicious.
Summary: Let me start by saying that several months ago, after much research, this was the machine I was planning to buy. However, I decided to scratch the idea of a fully automatic machine for a separate bean grinder and espresso machine. Although it was much cheaper, that turned out to be a very big mistake, as it was much more work trying to get a great shot every time from mediocre equipment.
Summary: My old semi-automatic Saeco espresso machine broke a few months ago. I loved that machine, and it ran forever. Once that machine broke, I decided to try a Keurig. Now I LOVE coffee, I really do, however making 4-6 cups of coffee a day for the wife and I using a semi-auto espresso machine each time tends to get tiresome. I decided to place convenience over taste and gave a Keurig a try. The Keurig had many great reviews, was convenient, so I figured, why not.
Summary: Works as well as my other Jura machine. The other really expensive one- 1,400 version. The other machine has a auto shut-off function and steamer, but this machine makes comparably good coffee. The good thing about this machine is its ristretto making function. And to those who say, you can get good coffee with a 12 dollar coffee machine, get real...I tried...those machines make greasy and nasty stuff.
