Summary: Forgetting the price for just a moment, I shall begin with what I like about my Jura Ena Micro 1. Once you've programmed the cup sizes, this machine is incredibly easy as well as enjoyable to use. The coffee is delicious.
Summary: When Nespresso raised the price of their espresso to $.70 per capsule I stopped to calculate how much I am spending each year for coffee - and it was well over $1,000. Yikes! Time to find an alternative.
Summary: A terrific coffee maker. My old Italian made super auto Gaggia which was tempermental and arduous to get repaired finally died. (Italy goes on vacation the entire month of August, so you can't get parts until October) I researched all sorts of machines, wanted the fresh ground beans, did not need...
Summary: I am amending my previous 1 star review. My machine did not break after six months, but it did jam for no reason other than humidity I am told. The coffee it makes is great, but if you live somewhere humid, be sure to vacuum out the grinder every few months.
Summary: We love the coffee that this machine produces, but if you are 2 people drinking average 4-5 cups per day (or like us in the morning before work) then the water tank is definitely too small. I would recommend this machine for a one person coffee drinker.
Summary: This machine makes amazingly good coffee. It does make some noise (the coffee grinder, and the water pump), but not too bad; bedroom door is 40 feet away, and my wife (a light sleeper) says it doesn't wake her up when I brew my coffee.
Summary: Overall a decent machine makes good coffee and is convenient. Room for improvement as follows: - small capacity water tank - water tank at rear, clumsy - small capacity bean hopper - funnel for ground coffee, clumsy and messy - spent grounds drawer and drip tray clumsy to replace due to irregular...
Summary: I was just making a cup a moment ago and realized I'd had this thing for more than a year and it's been awesome the whole time. I use it three or four times a day. It makes way better coffee than the kcups machine I had before (and I was even packing my own shells with that thing).
Summary: October 2013 Update: The grinding unit appears to have failed. It made a whirring sound for about 4 days before it completely failed and will not grind beans at all. Amazon was fantastic about it and is shipping me a new machine; and I will return this failed one.
