Jura vs Saeco

Ania Mar, Amazon
6 April 2015
  • Summary: I've had this machine as well as a SAECO unit (the Syntia). The shots pulled by the Jura are both hotter and better tasting than the SAECO. The shots pulled by the Jura have a darker crema, closer to what one would expect from a skillful manual pull, and the shots have more taste/substance.

Nice machine and makes great coffee

a., Amazon
6 April 2015
  • Summary: Nice machine and makes great coffee. My only complaint was that it would have been nice to at least get the owners manual with it. It wasn't hard to figure out how the machine worked, but still... come on.

So far so good

bg, Amazon
6 April 2015
  • Summary: We have this machine for about a year now. So far the experience is almost 100% positive. Pros: consistent coffee quality; easy strength/water volume adjustments; good coffee temperature; convenience of operation; nice design complementing our kitchen furniture.

  • Summary: Love it so far. Have to fill the small water reservoir quite often, as have really increased our coffee consumption with this unit.

An option for more water content would be nice.

Amazon Customer, Amazon

  • Summary: Coffee is fresh and smooth, but a bit strong for day to day drinking=even with light ow acid beans. An option for more water content would be nice.

Great machine

Ricky T, Amazon
5 April 2015
  • Summary: I hate to give this 4 stars, because it almost deserves 5. Retired a Starbucks Verismo machine to go to this. It will save us a ton on pods, hassle of finding the pods we like, paying for those pods we like, and will eliminate having to feel like a completely worthless human being throwing away...

I just didn't like the messy wires and engineering inside it when I ...

CaliRide, Amazon
5 April 2015
  • Summary: Think of this as a Portuguese made, Swiss engineered German car. I bought this after owning two Saeco automatic machines before Philips bought them out. The first Saeco lasted about 7 years and the boiler cracked when moving to Utah in the winter (my fault for not draining it) The I had the second...

I really like this machine, however...

Holly Mo, Amazon
5 April 2015
  • Summary: Forgetting the price for just a moment, I shall begin with what I like about my Jura Ena Micro 1. Once you've programmed the cup sizes, this machine is incredibly easy as well as enjoyable to use. The coffee is delicious.

So far, so good!

Raybador, Amazon
31 January 2015
  • Summary: When Nespresso raised the price of their espresso to $.70 per capsule I stopped to calculate how much I am spending each year for coffee - and it was well over $1,000. Yikes! Time to find an alternative.

If you just want great freshly ground coffee

Sara Pembroke, Amazon
28 January 2015
  • Summary: A terrific coffee maker. My old Italian made super auto Gaggia which was tempermental and arduous to get repaired finally died. (Italy goes on vacation the entire month of August, so you can't get parts until October) I researched all sorts of machines, wanted the fresh ground beans, did not need...
