Not hot enough even though you warm the cup

  • Summary: It was simple and convenient. The espresso was good but the temperature was not hot enough. The first one did not work and I struggled with it. It did not recognize there were beans so I returned it. The second one was out of order in one week. I won't buy any products of this company.

  • Summary: If I could choose no stars, I would. And I have a lot of experience with this companies machines. I actually haven't written a review before because Ive got so much going on with three businesses it frustrates be to be in a position with such a high ticket item that if I do write a review, it will be as long as the other unhappy reviewers HONEST one listing all of the issues they have had (and I have had the same and more). I have a Z5 and it is my THIRD Jura machine.

worst espresso machine i have ever had

  • Summary: worst espresso machine i have ever had. only problems especially with the grinder. machine doesn't take finest grinding settings at all. then there is always an issues with water flow. the spout seems clogged all the time. and now the grinder doesn't take any beans at all any more. doesn't seem clogged or anything. customer care couldn't really help. and this only after two months of operation. very very very cheaply made it seems.

Dead on Arrival from Amazon - leaked like a faucet

  • Summary: Was excited to receive my Ena Micro 1. I used to own a ENA 5 and it was a wonderful machine that is still going strong almost 5 years on. Unfortunately the ENA 5 is in a new home so I wanted once again to buy a Jura. Tried Nespresso but the the pod costs are too high these days and I am not a huge fan of the nespresso "taste" So I ordered the Micro 1 from Amazon Prime and it was delivered within one business day.

Faulty Machines

  • Summary: NOT A RELIABLE MACHINE!!!! We had the machine for 6 months now. The coffee is great but the machine had to be exchanged/fixed 5 times now due to technical issues. 1st machine went out after 60 days, some sort of internal circuit board defect with the water sensor. The second machine sent from Jura Capresso was missing the water container and was used.

Awesome Until It Breaks

  • Summary: Machine was simply awesome for the 6 months while it worked, then it broke. Started grinding very small amounts of coffee, resulting in weak brews. Also brewed over 8 ounces on the "espresso" setting. It's now come back from its second trip to Jura for repair, and it's still broken, even after specifically detailing the problems in a written letter taped to the machine.

Disappointed

  • Summary: Bought this machine as we are coffee drinkers. What a disappointment. Very expensive. Been back for repair after 3 months use. Asked for refund refused. Sits in box unused. Waste of money. Gone back to using Tassimo.

Poor quality

  • Summary: Purchased this Christmas 2011. Makes great coffee but brewing unit failed after 6 months. It then spent nearly 6 weeks being repaired using the previously mentioned poor repair service from Jura. Other Jura models are made in Switzerland. This one isn't. Friends have other models which have run for years with no problems. For the money the quality and service from Jura is not up to scratch. I would not buy this model again.
