Summary: First I love the design and the coffee was great. My first machine died after two years. I just ordered a replacement on line and the water won't heat up so I never got the first cup out of it. Now I have to go through the aggravation of returning it.
Summary: Let`s start with the design. It is always hard to find perfection in simplicity. I think Inventum is the Bang Oluffsen of coffee making. Besides I adore the sleek and smart design, I also love the coffee and tea it makes.
Summary: Quit working after a short period of time. I love the coffee maker and the fact it makes such great coffee but after two of these I don't think I want another one. Now Amazon will not let me return so I'm out $100.00.
Summary: I went for this Only because a main review said it was "programmable"; as in it will turn on. It does not and now I'm stuck with an expensive hardware that is bigger than the single "brew-master" I just dumped... to get this! All that, $100 bucks and for nothing. Guess I'll toss this now too.
Summary: The Coffee Maker was doing fine for a few weeks, we were not overwhelmed by the taste, but it was acceptable. All of a sudden the machine started to malfunction. Steam and water came out of the top and all over the counter. No matter what we did, it was not returning to make coffee.
Summary: I have had 3 Inventrum coffee makers in the last 3 n months. The first one overheated . It was dangerous to the touch. The second one would not send the water down into the cup. I like the look of the Inventrum and the foam so. I tried it one more time. I don't give up easily.
Summary: UPDATE: It's been less than a year and this coffee maker has overheated. The machine worked fine brewing 1-3 cups spanned throughout the day, but avoid overpowering the engine with the CONTINUAL brewing of four cups of more. Purchased an espresso maker and haven't looked back.
