Hamilton Beach Stay or go Coffee Maker

Summary: I chose Hamilton Beach Stay and Go as it is the only coffee maker I could find that does a "pot" or a single or double travel mug at the same time. It is easy and makes great coffee. Has a clock and can be programmed.
Summary: Had this for maybe 2 years, its huge, its bulky and the mugs and carafe it came with are messy and drippy. The mugs have no way to "close", so if your driving and you stop quick or turn sharp, coffee seeps out of the top of the drinking/breathing holes in the lid and all over the place. The carafe drips down the side every time you pour it, tried every which way.... no stopping it.
Summary: This coffee maker is terrible. It has spilled from day 1 even with the stupid 'press to pour' function on the handle. I make coffee nearly every day and it's the worst I have owned. The seal has now completely broken so even being totally careful means half the pour on the counter. Do not bother wasting your money. Get the cuisinart dcc1200 instead-much better value.
Summary: This has been the best thing ever. It makes GREAT ICED COFFEE. We have saved at least $24.00 a week for two years now with our purchase of this. So if you are considering purchasing, do it you will love yourself and save big money Coffee shops and MCDonald's don't want you to buy this machine, but do it..........! You will love the savings.
Summary: I received this as a gift and less than 3 months later it stopped brewing or would only brew a small amount. I called the company and had no problems getting it replaced (they were very pleasant to deal with). Now a year later and I'm having the same problems. I only use filtered water and have tried cleaning it. Now I'm waiting on another replacement from the company. When it worked, I loved it.
Summary: I regret buying this thing. The coffee is not hot enough. The pot is not well insulated. The feature to brew into the two travel mugs doesn't work. (one mug will overfill) It's impossible to pour without spilling all over. It's difficult to fill the water tank without spilling. Great idea and initial design, but the product needs lots of improvements.
Summary: we have this coffee maker at work, and i dislike it. the stainless steel carafe is heavy and ackward to handle. it has a wide lip on it which makes it difficult to clean, and hard to fill if you don't have a long fawcet, and can spill as you pour. the base is not heated. my main complaint is that it is slow. a good coffee maker should only take around 4 minutes to brew coffee.
Summary: Bought this product because it was on sale and my previous long-beloved Braun model had given up the ghost after many years of service. Needed a replacement fast. I learned my lesson on this one. The carafe drips when trying to pour coffee, as many other reviewers have said. But then one morning, the clock was flashing, wouldn't reset, wouldn't brew, no amount of following the manual's troubleshooter tips helped; it was just comatose!
Summary: I've had this coffee maker for over 2 years now. My parents got it at a great deal and so far it has really made great coffee! It's a very simple machine, easy to use and keep clean. Recently, I think some of the grounds got stuck in the bottom of the drip basket, which did not allow the coffee to leave the drip basket and eventually came overflowing out the top of the machine. What a mess! It happened again, even after I thoroughly cleaned it.
Summary: I would give this to anyone who would take it free..... Very user unfriendly. Is there coffee in the carafe? Who knows. Is the coffee in the carafe hot? Who knows. Can you get the carafe out from the maker? the little plate underneath it turns and gets stuck. And the whole thing is so tall I can't open the lid to put in water without moving it from underneath the cabinet. And did I mention it dribbles everywhere. It does do one thing good, the clock keeps good time.
