Red + Coffee = Love

  • Excerpt: My 5 year old red coffee maker died on me suddenly and I just knew I wouldn't be able to find another red one for a good price. Luckily, I was wrong, and I stumbled upon this beauty!I have coffee on, pretty much all day and into the evening, and this coffee maker has withstood 6 months of my torture without missing a beat.We lice the bright blue light, like a mouth to a flame, pulling me to fresh hot coffee.

  • Summary: I am very pleased with this coffeemaker. I especially like the fact that it can be programmed, so that my morning coffee is hot and ready on time. Rev. MacBry in NC.

  • Summary: I bought this to replace another Hamilton Beach I have had for 7 or 8 years. It is the best coffee maker I have ever owned. Broke the carafe and couldn't find another one so bought this replacement maker. So far it is just as good as the old one. None of the other makers I have owned come close to the quality of this one. Coffee comes out hot and the burner keeps it hot.

Works ok

  • Summary: Just your average coffee pot. I bought one in black, which leaks and burns coffee. The red one has held up ok, but I don't trust that it will last long due to the malfunctions of the other. I wish I would have spent the extra money on Cuisinart or Kitchenaid.

EXCELLENT---But HUGE

  • Summary: Ok, so this coffeemaker is simply huge!! I love it though. It's well shaped for its size and lends itself to being kept cleaned far easier than coffee makers I have had before. I love the programming feature, auto shut off and am really glad I can easily brew only 4 cups if I choose to, which is all the time.

20 Year Bunn Owner Just Switched.

Rayman, Amazon
10 September 2011
  • Summary: I've used Bunn coffee makers for 20 years. I was sold on Bunn until I checked the prices of their programmable models. I was shocked. After reading reviews of the Hamilton Beach, I ordered one. For the first time in years I can actually "taste" the coffee...and it's piping hot! It works perfectly. If you buy one you won't be sorry...it's that good. If I broke it tonight, I'd order another one tomorrow.

Pretty to look at but not practical

Peter G "NJ Cyclist", Amazon
27 July 2011
  • Summary: I bought this coffee maker for my parents. It is GREAT looking, was easy to set up and all, but it's somewhat of a pain to use... Let me start off by saying the coffee tastes GREAT... better than out of some fancier machines... However, to use it, the ENTIRE top lifts up. To remove the basket, you actually have to swing the water spout arm to the side to remove the basket with old grinds & rinse, and you have to add the water in the back which is difficult to get to if...
