Leaking...Not hot enough...Cord not convenience

Summary: It's a great size and and a useful unit. We have this unit for many months and had a previous same exact unit for a few years. However, there are a few major faults with this unit: 1. The electrical cord is attached to the back and is can not be removed.
Summary: it's okay for the price, there are two design features that should be re-worked. 1. the pot gets very hot so don't brush up against it. 2. the button you press to fill your cup is directly over the spigot for filling the cup.

Summary: This was a good value and my book club appreciated having abundant and HOT coffee. But now I think I know a difference between these affordable models and the pricey ones. The unit itself gets very hot. I am concerned that someone may burn their hands just by touching the outside.
for ceramic/glass mugs or cups only, not for foam cups!

Summary: I bought this for church use and would give a 5 star but the button for dispensing the coffee is not good for foam cups and only good for sturdy ceramic/glass mugs or cups. For foam cups it's dangerous as HOT coffee can spill as foam cups are light while pushing the dispenser button.
Summary: The Good Intuitive controls. Clock, timer, etc. are super-easy to figure out; we did not need the instructions to get it set up. The display is bright and can double as a nightlight. Somewhat attractive design. Makes good coffee. Also makes iced coffee if you like.
Summary: I had an older, non-programmable one and loved it. It finally wore out and I got this one. I like the features and it makes great coffee, but you get water everywhere when you refill it. It condensates to the lid and bottom of the filter tray, leaking water all over the counter and floor.
Summary: Functions well, heats quickly, but I don't care for the aluminum, the inside discolors. Stainless steel would be better but would jack up the price substantially. I only bought it for holidays so its fine, but if I were going to use it more frequently, I'd opt for a better quality stainless.
