Convenience vs Quality
28 March 2016
Summary: This is our third HB Brew station, because we love the convenience of the dispenser. Pros: It's easy to program. Attractive. Easy dispensing. Makes great coffee (we always grind our own fair trade). Cons: water container is bulky to handle if you're not near sink sprayer.
Summary: I had the hamilton beach 12 cup brew station for many years until its demise. I ordered the smaller one , but I ended up putting it aside for a back up coffee maker and then ordered the 12 cup. I thought the ten cup brewed a bit slower than the 12 cup.
Summary: ok after owning this for 2 years, can update my reviews. from 5 to 3 stars because the dispenser barely allows coffee to drip in a steady flow (yes we do the vinegar/water cleanse on a regular basis & thoroughly clean the machine).
Summary: I want to like it but 1.) the thing is insanely slow to make a pot. 2.) coffee is not really hot enough, especially once you add refrigerated creamer. 3.) it's kind of difficult to fill this with water without dripping water everywhere. Add it up and it = go back to Mr.Coffee.
Summary: Works pretty good. Its a little awkward filling with the container but doable. Also, it doesn't seem to keep the coffee all that hot after brewing. Maybe its just me. Personally, I would prefer it if it had additional brew strength settings.
Summary: Started out great! Kept the coffee hot for up to 4 hours without the burnt taste or any grounds at the bottom. Controls are easy to use, timer is easy to set, and no messing around with fragile glass pots.
