Hamilton Beach 6 cup brewstation - do not care for it!
2 November 2010
Excerpt: I purchased this brewstation to replace my coffeemaker I had in my office at work. I liked size and thought I would like the fact that of not having a pot. However, what I didn't care for is that you have to bring the whole station to the sink to fill and have a pitcher to fill it. Having to have a pitcher to fill it wouldn't save me any space in my small office. I purchased a different type and I am now stuck with the brewstation also....
Excerpt: I got the Hamilton Beach Brewstation to replace my Cuisinart that died, I needed something quick and this was my option as Walmart... so I went with it. So far it's a nice coffee maker, it makes good coffee very quickly, keep it nice and hot. It's easy to use, very straight forward. Simple to clean.
Excerpt: I bought this as my first coffee maker a few months ago. It was inexpensive, and I loved that it didn't have a carafe to worry about. Less to break, and less to clean equals a win in my book! I really like this. It's simple to use and program, and it has never once leaked in the two months I've used it.
Summary: brews good coffee. One draw back is the way you have to put water into the tank. Sometimes you spill some on the outside. the unit is tall. and when you lift the lid you need room above it. keeps coffee fresh while waiting to get next cup. the clock loses about a minute every 3-4 days.
Summary: This is the second coffeemaker of this style that I bought. I purchased this one to replace one that had seen better days. I like it because coffee doesn't burn since there is no carafe. It is simple to use and easy to maintain.
Excerpt: The Hamilton Beach Brewstation is the greatest coffee maker to come along. I have RA and it so easy to use. Not all coffeemakers are disability friendly, however, this one out does itself. My 8 yr. old grandson can even use it. If I don't get to it first, he makes the coffee. There is no glass brewing pot so I don't have to worry about either one of us dropping it. You just take out the plastic basket and put in the paper coffee holder and then the coffee.
Summary: Makes great coffee. I also have a 12 cup Brewstation that I love. This one is a little slow and light weight. If it's not against the wall it moves when you get a cup. The top is flimsy. Overall good. Better than most 6 cuppers. I love no pot.
