Summary: After going through 3 Mr. Coffee four cup makers (the digital timers died) I tried the 6 cup Hamilton Beach Brew Station. It makes good coffee but preparing the maker is a bit complicated until you learn the drill. Also, it takes time to get everything ready to go again.
Summary: I bought the hot pink version, #48271, from the after school clearance aisle for $11. Most of the comments about this style of Hamilton Beach Brewmaster (regardless of the model #) are right on. the pros: +It makes 2 travel mugs of coffee. +The coffee is hot and delicious!
Summary: Hey I'm lovin my 6 cup brewstation...and I know a trick to keep coffee tasting fabulous...place about 3/8 of an inch of water into the coffee warming station (the top level...under the basket)...that way the coffee isn't hitting on the element and scorching!!
Summary: I just purchased this coffee maker and it does make 6 cups of coffee. Other reviewers have no clue what a cup of coffee is evidently. Coffee makers are 4 oz. = a cup, not 8 oz. My previous coffee maker was a 12 cup and I only ever made coffee up to the 6 cup line on the side of the pot.
Summary: Just purchased this coffee maker and is perfect. Not too small or too big. To the other posts claiming that it makes so little coffee, I call BS. I use a bigger than average coffee mug and I get 3 full mugs of coffee, which is ideal for me.
Summary: This machine is fantastic! it brews fast, I keep it at work to brew coffee for my meetings. Savings are fantastic as it brews more than enough coffee to last me all morning. Well worth the price!
