Summary: I have only had this for a short time, so I really can't rate durability except that it appears to be sturdy enough to withstand daily use as well as any other coffee maker I have had. But, I do love it so far. I am the only coffee drinker in my family for the most part. Four cup pots are not quite enough to fill my mug three times, which is my average morning amount. This fits the bill perfectly.
Summary: This coffee maker is perfect for my needs... wanted something that will brew small amounts at a time. It keeps the coffee very hot for 2 hours and then shuts off... keeps the coffee hotter than the carafe style makers. It does not leak as long as you put the correct amount of water into it... and the 4-cup basket filters fit perfectly in it (you can get 200 generic filters for about $2 at Walmart).
Summary: Initial use coffee tasted like plastic. No notification when coffee is finished brewing. "6 cups" of coffee only fills about 2 good sized mugs Display clock on top collects moisture and is unable to read when dispensing coffee.
Summary: The directions tell you how much coffee to add and you are not supposed to add more than what is recommended. I like strong coffee. It is not easy to just brew a cup of coffee on the spot -you have to set the timer first. The directions tell you to use a high quality filter, but don't tell you what size to get, or what they believe is the right filter. I tried to brew coffee following the directions exactly.
Summary: The perfect solution to "downsize" from the larger 10 cup Brewstation, perfect size, does not take up a lot of space, great if you have limited counter space like me. If you are someone who needs "more" than 1cup of coffee in the morning, this is the machine to purchase, and the price is perfect!!
Summary: What a disappointment. You have to tinker around to fill the water reservoir. Then you can only put 4 cups of water in. It states all over the box and instructions 6 cups. A cup is 8 ounces. This thing holds 32 ounces, not 48 ounces as advertised. After messing with it I finally got the water in to test it out and the water ran out all over the cupboard. I went 10 days without coffee because it takes so long to get an order.
Summary: This is a great little coffee maker for 1 or 2 people. It's affordable and make a really good cup of coffee. (Depending on what kind, brand ,and type of coffee you use, of course!) I like the fact I can program it at night and my coffee is waiting for me when I get up the next morning.
