Devoted to this brand ... and surprised at my new one.

Summary: Despite all the bad reviews on this brand in the past, I am hooked on it. I like the way it brews, and I like the taste of the coffee. We've had a couple of these previously, and after a couple years, they developed leakage problems at the spout, requiring replacement. This is my third one. When I got it, the first thing I noticed was that Hamilton Beach had made some design modifications with this one.
Summary: I purchased the BrewStation 3 years ago to hopefully keep the spill level to a minimum. I have always used distilled water in it, and it has never leaked. Although I only make one pot of coffee a day, it is still brewing great coffee without any problems. When this one gives out, I will definitely buy another.
Summary: Have had the machine for just over a year and the front plastic pannel is leaking. We have also had to keep a towel under for the entire time because coffee often leaked while pouring. And, not to beat a dead horse, but condensation forms on the top and drops onto the back of the machine where our cord is when the lid is lifted.
Summary: I received this coffee maker as a gift and it worked pretty well for awhile for about a year. However, just this week-I decided to clean it with CLR and the thing stopped working!!! I couldn't believe it! Needless to say i bought another Hamilton Beach coffee maker (with a carafe) to replace this one. Pros: Programmable, no carafe so you can just fill your mug, holds a large quantity of coffee (great for company) and shuts off after 2 hrs.
Summary: I have a talent for smashing coffee carafes, usually while I'm cleaning them. I almost never made coffee for myself at home because I hated cleaning the carafe. I researched (though my husband would say obsessed, and he may be right) carafe-less options and decided the Keurig would be a bad choice for us because of the pods. Found this one, and had to consider that I have a low clearance between my countertop and upper cabinets -- only about 14 1/2 ".
Summary: I received this as a gift about six months ago, and I was thrilled because I am something of a Decanter Terminator--I am always managing to drop them or crack them or destroy them somehow. However, the plastic tank that replaces the decanter here is not dishwasher safe. I rinse it every time I use it, but it stains very easily so now I can't tell from the outside how much coffee is left.
Summary: I have purchased (2) of these coffee makers in the past year. I love the coffee maker, but after owning it for a short period of time, it starts leaking all over the counter. I have followed the instructions, but it still leaks all over the counter. If it wasn't for that the coffee maker would be great. I loved my first one, but it leaked, so I thought I would give it another chance, but it happened again.
