Summary: I bought this one to replace my old Hamilton Beach coffeemaker that I've had for years. The coffee gets really hot to the point where it tastes a little burnt by the time I fix a second cup. Thankfully, it turns off automatically after 2 hours. That's my only complaint and getting used to the cone shaped filters.

Summary: Blending our own origins, we are serious coffee drinkers in our family. Having been through many styles of coffee makers, this Hamilton Beach has been thee best longest lasting coffee maker I have ever owned. Programmable for pre-set brew time, slim, lightweight, brews fast. This pot pours perfectly! Waiting tables at rush hour with Bunn coffee pots -I know this pot is a good pour. No spills or drips.
Summary: We had a nice cone coffeemaker that died and we needed a replacement. We tried out a few basket models, but kept getting grounds. Then I saw this model for sale and jumped on buying it. It is a wonderful model, very easy to load and tell how much water you have added, the carafe produces no spills when pouring. Simple to program as well. A very solid reliable product, if I need to buy another I know what I'll be getting!
Summary: I've used probably a dozen different coffee-makers in the past, including cheap $10.00 jobs. This one is the worst. Constantly overflows, despite every precaution. Hamilton Beach said it is because we need to clean the unit and make sure the grounds are ground properly. It is a brand new unit, and the grounds are custom ground at Starbucks for a cone filter. Piece of garbage. Going in the trash.
Summary: The house we are renting came with a new one of these. It's been 10 months of brewing 2 pots a day and I was pleased with the product until recently. It now takes close to an hour to brew a full pot and half the water evaporates before it's finished so I have to add more. My guess is that it may need a good cleaning which I'll do next otherwise we'll have to get a new one and it probably won't be a HB. I'll update this review over the weekend after the cleaning.
Summary: our 4 cup maker actually only produced 2 good sized cups . This here unit will make enough coffee that you don't have to keep loading it every time you turn around . I am still looking for a source of "citavo" coffee sent out only to sysco commercial accounts , no luck yet .
Summary: I love this coffee maker, the overflow problem can be fixed by pushing down on the basket after you put in the carafe, not a difficult task. I have no problems with this coffee maker, and it brews quickly.
Summary: Thankfully I was able to get this coffeemaker for $5 via Kohl's sale and Mail in Rebate. So glad I didn't pay more because I'm not sure it's worth $5! The top has to be on securely and everything in its place to ensure that it doesn't spill all over the counter top during the brewing process. The coffee tastes fine but when you pour it, you have to put your thumb on the carafe lid to prop it. Unfortunately the steam burns the thumb with each and every pour. Ouch!
