I love, love, love this machine

Ms. Phillips, Amazon
22 March 2014
  • Summary: I bought it in 2009 which is five years ago and it makes the best froth ever! I found the pods work best unless you want to clean it often. I have had a few times that nothing will come out and I get out the book, follow directions and it works again. I love the froth for cappuccino which is my beverage of choice.

John Carter, Amazon
9 February 2014
  • Summary: Pleaaed with purchase. Get very good espresso and cupaccino from the machine. Would recommend to others. Takes practice to get the foam right for cupaccino but does good job when you learn.

Espresso Machine

L. Mcgrath, Amazon
4 January 2014
  • Summary: I got this machine for my husband for Christmas. He says that its easy to use and was easy to put together. The stamper is plastic and it would be nicer if it was a heavier material.

Good machine for the price if you can live with the build quality.

K. Wilson, Amazon
13 December 2013
  • Summary: This machine does a good job. It is sort of a poor-mans gaggia classic. No 3 way valve, no adjustable over-pressure valve. But these have not been an issue for me. Heats up fast, good steam pressure. There are a few tricks to get good results out of this machine. The first is to open the steam valve up for a couple seconds when pressing the brew button, which softens the initial pressure onto the coffee puck, sort of a pre-infuse.

Why is this machine so noisy?!!!

Yolanda, Amazon
13 May 2013
  • Summary: Purchased from Whole Latte Love this machine came in a soaked box and the pump is incredibly noisy! Whole Latte Love listened to it over the phone and said it sounded just fine but I can not believe an Italian company would make a machine with such a noisy rattle and moan. It makes good coffee but I can't help to wonder if I have a lemon.

large expensive complicated and slow

E.L., Amazon
17 April 2013
  • Summary: If you want to spend a lot of money on a large complicated over-engineered piece of counter crap this is it. It takes over 25 minutes and three operations to produce ONE SHOT!, that's right, a single shot, of less than average luke warm "expresso". I spent about an hour on the phone with the distributor's customer service rep and had him guide me through the process twice and then got out the Mr. Coffee. And guess what? THEY DON'T ACCEPT RETURNS!!!!

Don't buy it

Raymond LoBosco, Amazon
17 February 2013
  • Summary: Received the product and it is leaking out of the bottom. Horrible, returning it today. Personally, I don't think it made a good cup of Espresso either. I've had cheaper units that actually did a better job.

Great for the price

rethomas, Amazon
24 November 2012
  • Summary: This was our second home espresso machine after our deLonghi passed away. I have worked in restaurants for 10 years and pulled so many shots that I couldn't even fathom a number; and this machine is pretty good. It is not commercial quality, but for $200 it extracts a good shot with some work on your grind setting and tamp pressure. A good quality grinder is recommended to ensure a fine grind. The frothing wand is amazing, just submerge it in the milk and you have foam.
