Summary: This is the third Gaggia coffee machine I've owned. Like the others it makes great coffee. The full automation from beans to a fresh espresso is fantastic. However, also like the other Gaggia machines I've bought its failed. I've had it for just over a year, but its now broken down. I'm trying to see if I can get it repaired under warranty - but its still very disappointing.

Summary: Beware if buying this appliance on Amazon from a third party retailer as I did. My coffee machine, which I was relatively happy with for the five months it was serviceable, broke. The brewing cassette failed to return to its housing after cleaning. I contacted Amazon to effect a repair, Amazon explained that as I purchased this from Coffee Matters they would deal with my problem. They did NOT.
Summary: I have this machine few weeks, and I can say that for price is not so good like I expected. 1. Coffee is not so hot as I like 2. On all strongest coffee setting (espreso button) it`s only normal coffee in 200ml cup, so if you want make full bigger cup of coffee by button (one is espreso another normal coffee) I can not say that is coffee! it is jus water with coffee taste. Anyway coffee taste is good. Machines design is very nice.
Summary: In theory a good machine, but 2 off them and they just didnt last. Very disappointing. Also disappointed by the small reservoir 1.5 cups and its empty. Needs the grounds tray emptied after only a few cups. Requires descaling (costly chemical) very frequently and there is no avoiding it. Overall i was disappointed.
Summary: I already have a Gaggia Classic machine thats 7 years old and makes excellent Expresso so i thought the Brera would produce the same quality of expresso, however this was not the case. This machine simply wont grind the beans fine enough for expresso .The result was very poor even on the grinders finest setting, coffee came out the brew group in 2-3 sec .
Summary: When this works it makes nice coffee, but 4 times out of 5 it refused to finish grinding. This had the effect of wasting the grind it had created (straight into the waste section automatically), but more importantly it rendered a £400 machine basically unusable. I tried cleaning it and gave it a week to settle down, but the problems continued to the point where I had to return it.
Summary: Coffee was fantastic but had a problem with the metal (or what I assumed was metal) arm above the frothing wand that pealed off. It appears it was only a coating and not stainless steel like the wand itself. Had to return the unit and was told it was not repairable by Avides ??? Could not understand the reason why but in the end had to get a full refund. Shame as the coffee was really good but would expect better build quality given the price.
Great for two weeks then warning lights Prevent it from working

Summary: I purchased this Gaggia coffee machine as a replacement to an older Gaggia Classic machine. It arrived quickly and for the first two weeks I was the proud owner of a great little device. As regards the device itself - I think it is beautifully engineered and makes incredible coffee. I tend to use it with Lavazza, Gaggia or Illy beans and it makes an amazing cup of coffee. turn it on and it goes through a self cleaning cycle (so keep a cup under it when you switch it on).

Summary: Mitt exemplar matchar absolut inte andras upplevelser.
