Summary: I bought the Espressivo coffee machine and was trying to work out your manual. On page 6 and 7 you state 'get to know your machine' labelling the various components. However, you only number the components on page 6, whereas those on page 7 are listed without numbers. To add confusion, when describing how to froth milk on page 13, you refer to parts by number, yet there is no indication from page 6 and 7 what these parts refer to.
Summary: Good machine but needs descaling often. My first one was sent for repair because of leakage. I never got it repaired properly after two attempts by the insurance companys' repairer and bought another one but it stopped working too. It is hard to get someone to fix them. For that reason I would not buy again.
Summary: We have had this for 14 months - 1 month over the return date and are disappointed to inform buyers that the milk frother no longer works. It has been a great little machine and we've been dedicated to cleaning it regularly as the manual states - we flush the coffee filter and the milk frother after every coffee and clean the entire machine on a regular basis.
Summary: New machine I got in Nov 14 failed after 2 weeks-pump failed and poured water everywhere. Replacement machine now also failed after less then 3 months. Pump got slowly weaker and now takes ages to filter the water through the holder-therefore burnt coffee, steam and coffee grinds blown everywhere. Will try another brand. My DUALIT toaster is 17 years old and not a single fault.... go figure. Guess they need to stick to toasters.
Summary: Noisy, messy and not fit for purpose! Received as a wedding present but we are sending it back. Not only is it noisy and messy but the pump isn't sufficient to make a double shot of espresso ground coffee. When my wife attempted to do so the machine made a lot of noise, no water came through and when she released the coffee holder, it sprayed her in the face with hot coffee granules and hotter water.
Summary: This is proving to be a really good coffee machine, helping me make very nice capuccino's. Make sure that the coffee isn't ground too fine, because the flow through the coffee holders will be too slow and the unit will trip out on overheat. Also, keep on top of cleanliness to avoid leaks from the coffee holder gasket. Milk frother is very good, once you get the 'barista' knack. Very rapid warm up is a bonus.
Summary: Rubbish machine, don't know what Dualit are doing or thinking, there toaster are great but this machine is awful, it leaks from the portahead ( the group that holds the coffee), there is not enough pressure to push the water through, you need to buy filter papers, extremely noisy. We went through tree machines in as many weeks, in the end Amazon made a refund.
