Excerpt: If you like Cappuccino, then you will love this! It is simple to use but gives professional results. But, if you are single cup maker, there is not enough time saving - it takes almost as much prep time and clean up time as a manual.
Summary: well I do not write reviews so excuse me but I got two duds. This first one the LCD panel was missing lots of elements, so exchanged it. There went really well thanks Amazon. The second one worked for a few weeks and the coffee , tea, and Lattes were great.
Summary: I own this model and before i shelled out a few grand for it i of course came to amazon to read all the reviews. the one thing I kept reading about was the jamming that was occuring with others who own this macheine and the milk container sticking or jamming.. there is nothing wrong with the unit...
Summary: We've had this machine for 2 1/2 years. Never a problem with the mechanical parts of the machine, it has flawlessly made us espresso, cappuccino, etc nearly every day. Other reviews have well described the positives of this machine. We've had three issues: - milk pitcher hard to plug in.
The Delonghi Super automatic espresso machine is a lifesaver.

Excerpt: I love the Delonghi super automatic espresso machine. It was a long discussion and major decision to purchase. The cost can scare people away. Once I got it and started using it, I have not been back to a coffee shop since. The quality is consistant, the taste is supurb.
Summary: I have used a manual espresso machine for many years and now that I have a super automatic I will never go back. This thing is a technical marvel that is completely programmable to make perfect latte's or cappuccino's just the way I like them.
Summary: I had to return two of these machines - on the first, the milk pitcher was almost impossible to install on the machine - it worked a few times, then started sticking terribly. Then it stopped recognizing that the pitcher was installed at all, thereby making a latte impossible.
Summary: I am a bit of a coffee snob and always wanted a high powered espresso machine, but my wife was put-off by the complexity of the commercial machines. We bought the Gran Dama because it is so automatic that making great latte and cappuccino is now a breeze for her and I love the real espresso taste.
Summary: I have owned this machine for about 3-4 years. It faithfully grinds and presses three double long shots every morning, and maybe a decaf preground in the evening and then goes into heavy duty load when my wife plays "barrista" when guests are over.
Summary: First of all, this machine is physically superior to all other super-automatic brands I checked out. The top line Jura, Saeco, and Krups are all wrapped in plastic with steel accents in front while the Delonghi is fully encased in steel.
