I would marry this machine if my wife would cooperate!

Summary: Okay, so it cost more than my first car, makes more noise than the usual coffee maker, takes up excessive space on the countertop, but I LOVE this machine!!! Primary reason for purchasing this one over another model (another brand was not a consideration for me) is the addition of the ground coffee section which means while I enjoy my expresso/latte drinks with full dark roast coffee beans, my spouse can enjoy the occasional lightweight decaf americano (she is a coffee...
Summary: Makes good coffee, easy to set up and use. Makes coffee or espresso very fast, in less than 5 minutes you will have a great cup. I have not cleaned it yet but it appears easy to clean. Lots of plastic parts which maked me a little nervous about something cracking or breaking. One of the coffee spout tips broke off the first day I used the machine however it did not affect the use of quality of the coffee or amchine, just annoying!
Summary: Product worked excellently at first, however there are so many issues with the machine that it can become a pain to keep maintaining. Problems: * The only way to add in ground coffee seems to cause it to spill into the machine beneath, messing it up ridiculously. There's no place for a filter so you get stuck only using beans if you don't want to vacuum the thing after every single use. * Coffee comes out luke warm unless you have a HUGE cup with barely any milk.
Summary: I bought this ESAM5500 3 days ago from a major high street chain (Currys) after researching on the internet, swung by a half price offer (£375). Early indications are excellent, setting up took about 20 minutes after carefully reading the manual step by step. I had to make about 5 coffees to get the settings I was looking for, but once achieved the latte was perfect for us.
Summary: I have been looking for sometime and I'm really pleased that I decided upon this machine, it is fantastic. Makes hot and frothy Cappuccino, with nearly everything adjustable for your own tastes.
great machine but delonghi customer service doesnt exist!!!

Summary: I've gone through a small number of coffee makers over the years, replacing each predecessor with a "step-up" each time. I started off with a Bialetti Mukka Express Stove-Top Cappuccino Maker, which did me well when I lived in a bedsit for a few years. It became quite redundant after moving home after I moved home couple of years ago and bought the Delonghi Icona ECO310.R Pump Espresso Machine.
