What method do you use to adjust the grind, volume, and dose levels? The manufacturer's instructions suggest the "trial and error" method. Does anyone have a better way?
I get a good tasting two ounce double espresso shot with the grinder set to 1 1/2, and both the water and bean controls set at 10 O'Clock using 8 O'clock regular whole beans or Dunkin Donuts original beans.
This was by trial and error but I recorded the noise as the machine went through its cycles using Audacity on my laptop. After printing and plotting 100 or so espresso shots and trying different settings, This is what I have determined to be a very enjoyable drink.
