Summary: I purchased the machine for myself as a birthday present, and I've had it for about 6 weeks. We have a Pavoni espresso machine, which my husband loves for his espressos, but I think it's a pain for making lattes: grinding the beans, tamping down the pod, "pulling" the lever (which will be really hard if you tamp it too densely), steaming the milk, and then cleaning the steaming wand, not to mention what a pain to refill the water chamber (turn off, wait till pressure is...
Superb nespresso machine. High quality. Convenient!

Summary: Pricey, but well worth the convenience. Multiple flavors with the pods is a nice touch. The milk container does need to be cleaned frequently or some deposit will form inside the lid where the milk gets frothed. Now I wonder how I will be spending the remaining balance on my starbukcs card.
Summary: I had the Lattissima plus and upgraded for the larger milk and water plus the quicker start time. It's ready in 15 seconds. My temp was supposed to be hotter than the plus and I'm getting 150 which seems about the same as the plus. I guess I was used to the hotter Keurig and that would be my only improvement request. Love this machine!
Summary: This is dead simple to use, and makes espresso drinks for around $1 each. It foams milk so well that you have to use a spoon. While you're going to spend most of your time drinking the preset cappuccinos and macchiatos, you CAN make other types of drinks - for instance, fill your cup with steamed milk and then add a shot of espresso for a latte.
