Very hot cofee and latte if you use it right!

Hicham B., Amazon
8 September 2014
  • Summary: This is one of the best cofee machines out there especially at the current Amazon price. I read a lot people saying that the latte is not hot enough. Well, here is how you get your hot latte or coffee. 1. Run down hot water in your cup and let it stand for 5 sec 2. Put some steam in your cup 3. Make your Latte 4. This is the most important part: DO NOT TURN OFF THE NESPRESSO. PUT IT ON STANDBY MODE UNLESS YOUR ARE TRAVELING FOR MORE THAN 2 DAYS.

  • Summary: I gave up my Citiz machine (my neighbor, who inherited it, was thrilled) to buy the Lattisima Plus because I thought it would be convenient to have all of the functions in one unit (rather than a separate foamer) and to be able to leave the milk in the container in the refrigerator between uses. Sadly. theory is better than reality. First, the coffee isn't hot enough even if I have primed the machine by expressing hot water before making my drink.

Barrry L. Siegel "Aptosreviewer", Amazon
23 February 2014
  • Summary: The machine is a loser. The milk reservoir is oddly shaped, and hence hard to clean. The connection from it to the machine is tenuous and often requires wiggling. The water reservoir is hard to fill and doesn't hold much. After refilling it, the machine often balks displaying "refill the reservoir" message.

  • Summary: Like many others here, my machine worked great for a while. Now the coffee is watery and I can't make froth !! Very disappointing, as we loved it in the beginning. Buyer Beware !

Easy to use

rcv, Amazon
4 November 2013
  • Summary: Easy to use, easy to clean. No problem with frothier works as described. Reasonable footprint because of front loading water allows unit to be placed back on counter. Only con is the width of the space for tall glass or container a bit too snug. Tough to find glass that fits can - do it but it's a search.

  • Summary: I just love it. Can't live without... well, strong words but great machine! Real tasty coffee. Only problem is noise, could be bit more sophisticated.

Was the sole reason for my caffeine consumption to double

rvvind, Amazon
20 February 2013
  • Summary: From 2 cups a day of drinking Starbucks VIA at work, I jumped to 4 cups of Nespresso almost overnight. So far have no complains with the product or with the results we saw. I read a few posts on froth (or the lack of thereof) and I seem to find good results with a) using chilled Lactaid milk b) making the beverage in straight edged glass/cup. Cups with curved surfaces (like a coke glass) doesn't seem to froth as much at all.

Got Heat?

Dexta_Dark, Amazon
3 September 2012
  • Summary: I have been struggling with this machine for 2 years now. I love how cheap the coffee is and the variety is awesome, but the fact that there is no heat is a problem. Coffee is supposed to be hot and this machine just doesn't make it hot. I don't think I should have to put coffee from a $550 machine into the microwave to heat it up.
