Summary: I have a couple of friends with nespresso machines so I was no stranger to the great tasting coffee. When I saw this machine at this price I had to buy it. I wasn't disappointed. It is very easy to use and clean. The instructions on setting quantities and how to descale are straight forward. One bit of advice would be to be careful what latte glasses and cups you buy or intend to use fit under the spout.
Summary: As I am very fussy about my coffee, finding a machine that makes great coffee every time at the press of a single button was my idea of heaven. Would definately reccommend this machine for ease of use and quality. FIVE stars.
Summary: I bought this Latte maker and it has changed my life. I now longer spend £20 + per week at starbucks. Coffee machine is as easy as ABC to operate and there is no emptying dirty loose coffee from the compartment because you just throw away the pods. No fiddley knobs to turn to froth the milk either as it is all done internally.
Summary: I have always wanted a proppa coffee machine that makes quality coffees but at an affordable and unmessy way. Having eyed up the machines in Selfridges I decided to go for the Delonghi (as it could make all the drinks I love to purchase at Costa et. al.) I was not prepared to spend £270 at the shop but looked on good old Amazon and was pleasently surprised to see it at a much cheaper price! So I ordered it post haste. It came within the agreed time and it IS AMAZING!!!!
Summary: Great Coffees over and over, with enough selection in the pods to make everyones perfect coffee. The trouble people have with heating, i dont, my coffees come out perfectly hot, if you know how to use the machine you can make a great coffee. So if you dont mind spending 20 minutes and a couple of tasty experiments getting it just right, this is the machine for you.
Summary: After three weeks, it just stopped working. The capsule system would no longer penetrate the capsules and so it was not possible to make coffee. For all of its marvellous technology, all I was getting was a thin gruel of hot water. Such a shame. This is a clever and ambitious machine that was several generations ahead of my old magimix - but it seems to be let down by build quality. It was great while it lasted but that wasn't so long...
Summary: The first machine that arrived failed to heat and froth the milk to make a cappachino so it was returned. The replacement machine produced frothy milk uncontrollably and in addition couldn't produce a large cup cappachino of any strength, so that was returned as 'not fit for purpose'. This experience was very disappointing and although the machine looked nice I would not recommend it to any one else. Meanwhile my quest for a decent cup of coffee continues!
Summary: As a regular coffee enthusiast, this Clooney Nepresso comes close to perfection in delivering the best coffee you can ever imagine... well apart from those original Italian cafes. Having bought this several months ago, we have not visited Starbucks. On a cautious note, we note that the milk nozzle was faulty in that it requires REGULAR pre- and post-use drain to dislodge any dry milk residues. Otherwise, it is a struggle to slot the milk container onto the machine.
Summary: I took the advice of another reviewer and purchased this machine through Warehouse Deals from Amazon and at £86 this was amazing value. The deal stated that it would be missing one non essential extra which I thought was fair enough. Be warned though that the non essential extra in my case was the coffee capsules which usually come free with the machine.
