Summary: In general, it's a great product. But, the milk feature as reported by other users is inconsistent. Sometimes not hot enough, sometimes way too much froth (even on the low-froth setting), sometimes the milk pours out nicely and sometimes it spits all over the place. We have been trying a bunch of different things -- milk temp, making sure all parts are clean -- but it appears to just be something in the machine.
Pros: Easy To Clean, Easy To Use, Quick Brewing, Quiet
Summary: Ok, I love this thing overall and use it every day, but I have to complain about the milk holder. There is a little pivoting spout that folds in and out. When out it will point the pressurized milk into your cup. When folded, the machine will still come on and try and squirt milk into your cup, but it can't due to the spout being folded in, so it squirts it everywhere OTHER than the cup and get everywhere, and due to the "ripples" in the bottom platform under the sliding...
Summary: This is a great one touch system that is pretty easy to setup. However after each cup of coffee the milk container needs to be cleaned with a button that needs to be held down firmly the entire 10 second process. Every few months this needs a heavy duty cleaning with a solution that gets sold by Nespresso, this can run about $20 Other than that you can expect quick startup and one great cup o joe every time.
Pleasantly surprised at the quality of this espresso maker

Summary: I have enjoyed my decades-long morning routine of making a latte on my "other" espresso machine. It was a 10 minute-long process but the end result was worth the effort. I have been looking at pod espresso machines but until now haven't been satisfied with the quality of espresso and the milk frothing ability of these more time efficient espresso makers.
Summary: It has come to my attention that there has been countless reviews both praising and being critical about the Lattissima Plus. I will be focusing on both ends of the spectrum. The Lattissima has been highly praised for the one–button creation of milk-based drinks. To some, this may be worth the premium over the more rudimentary models such as the Citiz Milk, Pixie, and Escenza. This review serves several purposes: 1.
Summary: I was looking for an automatic machine to take the extra steps out of making a latte. This machine does a very European cappuccino and latte - serving sizes match what I had in Italy & the Netherlands. The default latte is one shot of espresso over about 5 ounces of milk, but just about 50% of the latte is froth. I've been using cold, 1% milk. I tried almond milk today and it was a better ratio, but the dial doesn't seem to do much to control how much froth there is.

Summary: OVERVIEW My experience with the Lattissima Plus is limited to using my daughter's and son-in-law's machine for two weeks while visiting over the 2013 holidays. As a result, the below is my tentative evaluation so take that into consideration. The Lattissima Plus makes very good caffe espresso (short coffee), caffe lungo (long coffee), and caffe Americano (American coffee when water dose is doubled).
