Summary: Absolutely horrible machine. Paid $400 for this to have it work for 3 weeks. I have had nothing but problems since purchase. It has been shipped back multiple times for repair, never to come back working properly. Won't froth, isn't hot. I take it directly from the spout to the microwave. Have used a total of about 5 times since and all nespresso will offer is a discount on purchasing ANOTHER machine! Thanks but no thanks. Would expect this from a $100 machine.
Great for one week. Bad manufacturer customer service.

Summary: I was SO excited to receive this little gadget! And for one week it was my best friend, performing great! At about the one week point the milk stopped foaming. I did all of the troubleshooting tricks in the manual and the manufacturer's website but no luck. So, I called the manufacturer's customer support and this is where my extreme disappointment began. Summary: I bought this machine for Christmas and we have loved using it for making great Cappuccinos. In the week since we got it, we have probably made 15-20 cappuccinos with lots of great froth. The milk frother stopped working today...no froth...just warm milk coming out. We have followed the guidelines carefully since we got the machine a week ago and "purged" the milk frother before and after every cup.
Summary: I just got this machine, and I cannot for the life of me make a hot drink with it. I have no issue with foam, it's just that the machine really excels at blowing a stream of cold milk into my cup during each and every use. Not really my idea of a latte. I went to the Nespresso counter at a local retailer, and the woman demonstrating this machine told me that she is getting a lot of these complaints, and that the solution is to leave the machine on for a long time before...
Summary: This machine broke within 3 months of purchase. The milk attachment stopped heating and frothing the milk and just squirted cold milk through slowly. I suspect this is a common problem with this new machine. The support from Nespresso has been appalling - waiting weeks for a new milk attachment which never arrived, then waiting for the machine to be collected - a replacement machine left which only makes espresso (not what I bought the machine for).

Summary: We had a nespresso magimix for years, but thought we would try this machine. huge mistake. As another reviewer has pointed out you can only make tiny amounts of expresso with it. The milk is also always tepid. It broke after a few weeks but because we bought it in the shop we have to go back to the manufacturers who will 'talk us through' mending it. Who has time for that???? Just a big waste of money.
