Summary: I was looking for an electric espresso machine (moka style) that would emulate a stovetop b/c I had not been able to find one with a wide enough bottom to work with my induction cooktop. This is absolutely perfect for me. I've used it 2-3x daily for 3 months now.
Summary: Love this. Makes an excellent cafe latte. Although it does not officially produce "espresso" it tastes exactly like it to me however without the bitterness I often get from my Krups espresso maker.
Flimsy parts -- one crucial one which broke within a few months, can't be replaced, and renders the machine useless

Summary: This never made particularly good coffee. But for a quick fix at home it was adequate. That said it is made from extremely flimsy parts which can only be replaced as far as I can tell by purchasing a package of replacement parts and not the one that broke within a few months of owning this machine:...
Summary: Wow, every day I love this little espresso maker more and more. It's quiet, fast, is easy to handle, pour, assemble, live with, and makes great espresso. And it's FAST! Operates in just the same way as a stovetop. I love the see-thru top carafe and the shape of the handle.
Well-built maker with a few minor items to be aware of

Summary: This moka maker is a solid piece of equipment and makes excellent coffee. A couple of things though: in the instruction pamphlet one of the diagrams for making a half-pot indicates placing an adapter disk into the funnel filter. I think the diagram is incorrect.
This is the next best thing to having a real espresso machine

Summary: This is the next best thing to having a real espresso machine. I used a stove-top version for many years, but when I had a long early commute to the office, I wouldn't always have time to make it on the stove.
Summary: If you're very, very careful, this will make a decent espresso. My only two complaints are: 1) It would be a lot more portable without the separate base (just have the heating element inside the bottom of the pot); 2) The little strainer that goes on top of the coffee is VERY flimsy.
Summary: Love, love, love this coffee pot. It is quick, convenient and small and the coffee it produces is rich and strong. I used to use a stove top model but I have ADHD and was constantly forgetting to turn it off.
Summary: Having lived in Key West for many years then moved away..what I could not leave behind was my love for Bustelo coffee. A couple yrs ago I spotted this on line ...bought it and can honestly say prob the best purchase I have ever made...I take it anywhere I travel..
Summary: I bought this to use at my office as my old Gaggia espresso machine (of 10 years) had died and wanted to try something different. Have only had for a few days, but the quality of the coffee produced is very good. it is simple to use, and you have great coffee 5 minutes later.
