Summary: This is my 4th expresso maker over the past 15 years. Others varied in price from over $700 from Pete's Coffee to under $100. This one is awful. It does NOT make more than a few drops of expresso. I would have returned it but I waited over the 30 day return window to try it out since my old (Mr Coffee) machine took longer to fail than I expected. It had lasted 7 years. So I called the company.
Summary: The machine did not work. The pump never shut off, went through the entire tank of water had to shut off manually. Called Delonghi and was instructed to cut the electric cord off and send it to them, they would replace the machine once the cord was received. In retrospect I should have sent it back and purchase a different brand.
never buy a DeLonghi product...worst customer service I have experienced.

Summary: This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I bought this machine mid-nov of 2012 and since then it has been in the service center twice for a bad pump. The first time it took 7 weeks to fix and then they said it was a cleaning problem and I knew it wasn't.
Summary: Bought this for my wife who loves espresso & lattes. The first one did not work out of the box & we returned it for a replacement machine. That machine worked for 6 months before it started to spit steam & the espresso would explode from the handle. We got our money back & purchased a Breville. Happy wife, Happy life.
Summary: We were in search of a quality espresso machine and thought the DeLonghi ECO310 would be the answer. It was not the case, although the frother/steamer worked well, the espresso itself always came out lukewarm at best. We followed all the instruction and tried every way we could but the unit failed at it's most basic function -make hot espresso! We returned the unit to Amazon and recieved a full refund.
