Summary: Well, the machine started to fail one week after the expiration of the warranty. I contacted customer service to see if they knew of the problem I was experiencing and could advise me on what to do, they first answered with a standard copy and paste of some online help documents which had nothing to...
Summary: I've gotten two of these machines NEW out of the box and neither of them worked. My wife and I had a more expensive Delonghi and the pump went within 1 year. We replaced it and again, 1 year later, stopped working. So we decided to try this one. 1.
DO NOT BUY unless you are willing to risk potential issues!

Summary: When I received this espresso maker it leaked water from the frother making a mess on the counter. Contacted seller and returned at my expense($32). Two months later I received my "replacement" that was "tested to not leak.
Summary: It leaked...all over. And often. This was before I tried to make a cup of coffee! It appeared to be a gasket problem. However, for a brand new machine and the money paid for it,I should not have to get the gasket replaced....I sent it back.
Summary: Made one great cup of frothy cappuccino then the 'on' button broke. UPDATE: found a way to turn it on (have to press the button sideways). First couple of cups of cappuccino were great then it developed a metallic burnt taste. This is going back to the manufacturer.
Summary: It's started working improperly in 2 month since it was purchased. it doesn't hear water anymore and it takes like 10 min to get 1 shot of espresso. and they do not accept returns after 30 days of purchase
Summary: Bought this machine new and it started leaking after only a week. I thought "not a big deal - I have warranty" and contacted DeLonghi customer service which told me to bring it to a service location near my home. It took 4 weeks to repair and started leaking again within the first week.
