Summary: My original DeLonghi worked for several years ok but the replacements I ordered both leaked and now I have none. I believe there is a design problem with the plumbing to the heat coil interface and it's very hard to repair. I would never get another one after I took my old one apart to see what went wrong originally and I even took apart the replacements that both leaked. This could be a very dangerous situation, high voltage, heat and water.
Summary: This Delonghi coffee machine has a very weak pump. I use it everyday only for 1 espresso every morning and I have been obliged to change the pump after 1 year of use after fighting with Delonghi that didn't want to change it for free because the warranty was over (it was the 13th month). It is impossible that for the very light use (1 espresso per day) and with the cleaning done with their decalcifier fluid (I did it after 6 months) the pump went broken.
Don't buy it, it leaks big time and they don't give me a refund!!

Summary: I never had such a bad experience like this. First of all, I bought two identical items and they both leaked just like most people said here. That's manufacturer's problem, not the seller's, no problem. So I returned both of them in one package as "the lady"(since she said she is "THE ONLY ONE" who takes care of customer services) told me to do(she only sent me one return label and when FedEx guy and I called, she said it is fine to send them together with one label).
Summary: The machine is not usable. After the first cup of expresso was made, it would not make any more cups of expresso and it had a continuous leak at the bottom of the drip tray but the water flow would not drain out of the two holes at the bottom of the drip tray, instead it over flowed all over the counter and not through the two drip holes at the bottom of the removable tray as it was suppose to.

Summary: Very frustrating working with Delonghi customer support. When unit arrived defective, Delonghi customer support did some troubleshooting over the phone to confirm unit was defective and offered to send a replacement immediately. A week past by and with no replacement in sight, I called back and was told that they did not receive a copy of the sales receipt and the severed power cord. Fortunately I had a tracking number to prove that the item was mailed.
